My uncle's fiancé is weird..
So my uncle is getting married next year..couldn't be happier for him. The thing that I can't seem to figure out is why his fiancé keeps trying to set me up with all these random chicks... she always tries to baby me ever since my ex and I split like I'm some heart broken sap or something.. it's annoying as fuck and it's the worst when she drinks...
Since she is family, I want to be nice to her... but how do I convince her to cut it out... literally we have this ridiculous 30 minute convos at each family dinner/event...it's really killimg my.vibe.. lol I can't just talk to her like I do to other girls when they bother me since she is family... so I'm not sure what to do but all I know is that if I have one more conversation about my ex or how I'm "going through a rough time" (which I'm not) I think I'll snap lol
Any advice fellas? Bit of a different scenario for once.. never really had problems with mt family like this.
So you're worried about crossing your uncle by putting his biscuit in her place? Or being overly gruff with her?

Well basically a bit of both. I dont want to make my uncle mad or anything since they have a good thing going on but at the same time I want to be respectful when telling her to stop cause she is pretty cool..It's just this one thing she does all the time. She'd be so much cooler if she didn't try to set me up or constantly talk about my ex... also she thinks I'm gay for some reason? Which is completely beyond me where she got that idea...
Are these girls she knows? Tell her, "pics (preferably full body) or gtfo" If they're above your criteria I would go with it man. Smash and dash. When the word gets back to her, she should stop real soon.
I had the same thing happened to me with family.
This is a really dumb scenario mang. You should easily be able to handle this you need training. If you can't tell your aunt or any woman to cease and desist on stuff like this, or even not even have it be a thing in the first place you're a fag. Cheers

She sees you as a surrogate son. She's marrying into your family and projecting her mothering instinct onto you. I would say it's kindof like she's "practicing." If that's the case, I def wouldn't stomp her.
It's fine to tell her you're good with all that but maybe try to re-direct that "mothering energy" to another area? ...Like cooking for you? The way to my heart is through my stomach.
Honestly, I've tried to tell her many times and I've addressed it respectfully.. everyone in the family has understood and gets it except her. My mom used to be like that but even she doesn't get on my shit about anything anymore. I have no problem telling girls where my boundaries are anymore. Like tonight I was sitting there and she just went on and on... then she didn't understand why I wasn't interested and starting questioning my preference in dating hahaha it was kind of funny but at the same time annoying. I told her I didn't need help finding any women and that I have an abundance to choose from, I just prefer to do my own thing. She just didn't get it.
Maybe you're right about the motherly thing.. she does seem like she cares a lot about the youngins in the familt especially cause she doesn't have kids of her own.
