I don't remember much from my 1st interaction with this girl, it was back in late September.
She was SUPER intrigued by the fact that i'm from Africa and was telling me that she had been there for a while. I somehow ended up with her Facebook, don't ask why lol. I don't remember going physical (maybe some High 5s and hugs...so typical of me). I messaged her the next day but because i sensed i was going to take the convo in a bad/chodey direction, i decided to cut it short and come back to her later.

ME: Hey we met on Friday nigh just in case you don't remember!
Africa is the shit!
HER: Oh hi. Yea it was amazing
ME: I don't remember if i asked you the last time you were there,
it's been 5 long years for me ha.
To make it even better i have family in France who keep asking me when i'm coming over
HER: I was there in April. Yea I have no clue when I'm going back either but it's amazing.
I briefly ran into her again with her friends a week or 2 later on the street at night. She was on her way to one of her friends' parties, so was I. To test waters i went in for a brief kiss and she was receptive. I asked for the number at the end but she said to get it from her on FB, she probably didn't want her friends to see idk.
In the meantime, I would sparingly like/comment on her FB statuses to remind her i'm there.
And so after 2 months, tonight I hit her up lol.

ME: So I was going through some Safari pics one of my uncles took in Ethiopia. They reminded me of you haha
HER: haha how have you been?
ME: I've been psyched up for christmas vacation for a while now. I promised Santa i would be good this year haha.
What mischief have you been causing?
HER: i cannot wait to go back either! ive been just laying low lately, school has been kicking my butt so ive been tryne fuction.
ME: nice, i like how you make the most out of the busy school situation. I've been missing out huh?
I haven't gone out the past couple of weeks. Not a cold weather person lol
HER: haha we just dress super warm, but yea we just dont go out as much. i just cant wait for finals to be over already!
ME: lol sounds like when the finals are over, you're going to do something big. Perhaps rob a bank
HER: no im going to go home and turn into a couch potato... hehe

ME: Not sure, my manager wants me to stay... I think she just has a crush on me
I might go back and wreak havoc in Sacramento after new years though

So wait, in a case like this wouldn't it be dumb to wait at least a MONTH before actually meeting up or should i be patient and occasionally hit her up? I suppose we could do something sooner, i just don't know how to bring it up. Her school schedule also sounds tight, and finals week is VERY close.

@Ghettoguru: i think either is fine. Depends on you really. Honestly just study with her. Take the excuse out of her hands. Studying was pretty money when i was in college cuz then you'd end up taking breaks and doing your thing with her after. Plus you handle your shit. Too bad you dont have her for a class, would be a money opportunity to school her on the subject.

Although i'm kind of being exposed to the college scene, i'm not returning to school until late January.
I'll occasionally hit her up and invite her to a party or something. In the meantime i'll be shifting my focus on other girls. Day game today!... in this rainy weather FUCK.

@Ghettoguru: enjoy college, its extremely fun. Youre in a party town too. Shes not gonna kick it. Its week 9/10 for ucsb. Finals week after week 10. Shes probably playing catch up in her classes. Yea, either way this should be an easy bucket for you. Lol dedication to the game man.
