Takes one girl to mess everything up

Last Friday I went out and had the opportunity to pull back at my spot.
But my girl's roommate blew it, AJ had even apparently suggested she stays over at his place.
This is an excerpt from my RSD fr, how could I have handled the situation better:
"AJ grabbed German girl and went to work.
Frenchie was mine and started grinding on me. I managed to inch us away from her friend to eventually prepare to isolate. We settled on the corner of the dancefloor wall; shit got real from here. I started working my hips harder, getting lower, running my hands all over her body and biting her neck. She would even do me the favor of moving her hair to the side so I could do it. She wouldn't let me finger her or make out with her though. After a couple of songs I told her in French "I'm getting hot in here, let's go outside", grabbed her hand and she complied. We stood on the driveway and I her stand on sandbags holding up a basketball backboard.
After some quick flirting we started making out hardcore. I tried pulling away a couple of times but she would keep pushing her lips onto mine.
It hit me that part of the reason she was putting up all these walls was because her friend was around; it hit me that I would seriously have to keep her alone for the night if i were to successfully F-close.
I for once decided to baby step it and bounce her to the park 2 houses down overlooking the ocean. I walked off and said "come"
"Where are we going??"
"Over there, we'll be back in 5"
She followed and held on to me. We got to a damp bench, to overcome any objections I had her mounted on my lap. It was sexy to say the least, more make-out but she still would not let me finger her or escalate further.
I remained patient, rinse-wash-repeated a couple of times but none of it worked lol. I bounced her in a slightly more secluded spot of the park thinking it might help. I sat on the grass and had her mounted on me again, same bullshit. She went on to say something along the lines of "I know i'm making you mad blah blah blah, you're different but when it comes to this you're like other guys" I took care of this, gave the vibe that i didn't care whether we have sex or not.
we moved things forward, went into deep comfort, sharing our values and standards (single girls should have the freedom to bang whoever they want just like guys blah blah blah). That took care of things and I think she was ready to bounce with me for the rest of the night. We walked back to the party to find that AJ was gone with her friend.
It was good news until I found out Frenchie had been holding on to her friend's phone... SHIET. "We'll go and drop off her phone" is what I said, she completely agreed.
Got to AJ's, hung out there for a while. Frenchie was gossiping with her friend while AJ and I were laughing about the night. Fast forward I said I was leaving and asked Frenchie to join me outside because things looked wrong. Frenchie told me that German girl was mad that we left her, that she wanted her to come home with her.... FUCK. They live downtown which is a 15 mins commute on the freeway.
I told her we're going to get my car (which i'm not supposed to drive, long story) drop German girl home, and have her come back with me so I can drive her back in the morning before my cousin slits my throat.
She complied and I told German girl what's up, after hesitating for a sec she agreed. The hesitation was a redflag but I proceeded with the plan. I had a friend pick us up, drive us to my car to jumpstart it. On our way there, the girls talk some more and Frenchie breaks the bad news thru text IN my friend's car:
HER: I'm just gonna go back home with her, I'll see u tomorrow.... long story
ME:Ok
HER: Sry
ME: :)
