Designing Behavior and the Mechanics of Magic
heya fellas,
another one of those fantastic talks at google, this time with a magician who performs tricks with audience members.
He then goes on to break them down how to engage peoples emotional sides, the fallacy of rationality as a mode of behavior
and the gap between expectation and assumptions people make. Overall a very good talk on the importance on how navigate
the world with our underlying grid of perception. It was interesting the way he interacts with audience members, his imposing frame and
verbal bamboozling going on.
Very good, it was interesting how he started the presentation, I thought it would come into play later but it just seemed to be for his benefit.
