How do you guys get along with family members?
I'm asking this because there's a certain dynamic going on in my family and I'm not even sure if I should do something about it or just let it go.
I have 1 older half brother, 2 younger brothers and a year younger sister
I get along best with my half brother who is the oldest of the kids. Both my younger brothers and sister get along with oldest bro great... however when It comes to me it's like we don't even live under the same roof. They all know what's going on in their lives, have inside jokes and get along really well, yet I'm like someone they don't want around. This has been fucking with my confidence for a while now.
Everytime I try to catch up on what's going on in their lives they just brush me off and won't discuss things with me, but they discuss things with eachother.
My sister has a boyfriend who studied sociology and he once talked to me about fucked up dynamic going on in our family and saying it's mostly due to my father and that we need therapy.
You could express how you feel to them and see if they want to work together with you to fix it. I would just worry about myself man. I've dealt with this for a small period of my life. Unless your a fucked up dude you have nothing to worry about. This happens with great friends too. All of the sudden they will just ignore you. FOR NO UNDERSTANDABLE REASON AT ALL. Same with girls you bang and hang out with. I wouldn't press for their attention or affection. Focus on yourself. Fuck 'em. Let them extend their love if they want any from you. When you get older you'll eventually be your own man anyway. Your just getting a head start.

@Manwhore I only stay at home during the weekends, and not always. Most of the time I live in capital city 50 miles away.
I have a AMAZING relationship with my brother. (i'm 19, he is 13).
We are best bros. He looks up to me in every aspect almost... if i say something is the shit, he just buys in. I'm his dad pretty much (My dad is a chode)
How? I spend time with him. We actually grew apart a little bit before, but fuck. Just get them into the stuff you like.
