Yeah I think the best product will vary depending on the individual. I'd start with one product and see how my skin reacts. Avoid artificially scented, perfumey ones. I find the pharmacies are not a good place to shop for skin care stuff. Natural and health stores are better. A good face routine is three parts IMO. Face wash, toner, then moisturizer. I try for twice a day but probably average once a day

Grapseed oil. Best oil to massage and for the skin, the richest in Omega 6 worldwide.
Use it on your skull/face after you shave, in the morning, whatever... massage a bit, let it penetrate then wipe out the rest with a towel.
Also put some on Trx so her hair look great and silky when she hump your laptop.

I'm sure oil works great and yeah it's cheap. Ime messy though, I had a girl recently who would really slather it on before bed and not thouroughly wipe off the excess. It was hell on my bed sheets and towels. I may revisit the oil moisturizer but currently prefer the cream for this reason among others
Have you ever used any products by Kiehls ? It's fantastic all around from deodorants to moisturizers. Costs a fair amount compared to what you'd get at Walmart and places like that but the products last quite a while and are really amazing. My facial moisturizer lasted me 4 months. For 20$ I thought that was a steal. Check that stuff out if you get a chance. They have a site.
