anyone have a tried-and-tested uniform or dresscode for going out?

I pretty much wear wife beaters or form-fitting plaids. I'm still figuring out the pants aspect but I used to just wear sweatpants and KILLED IT. Yes I used to dress up pretty much nonstop, and I do think there's something to be said for dressing flashy but I'm still assembling it. Even though I consider myself to have great taste in clothes, I'm not seeing how to apply it currently. All these fucking skinny jeans really chap my ass. 

The thing about plaid shirts is, they're everywhere. For a white guy in LA. if I wear form fitting jeans and a plaid shirt, I guess I'm safe but I'm automatically dressed like everyone else.
Anyone have an opinion on baseball caps?

Tank tops at night? That's a foreign concept to me. Sounds cold.

What I have rolled with a lot which is basic, is a longsleeve black canvas-like top with a few buttons (called a henley) with blue denim and a nice belt. But I'm not sure with that I should add just black shoes, or black wingtip shoes. I notice tyler d. Only wears chucks, seems like a casual effect.

I wear pretty nice shoes honestly. They're lookers, they stand out. No they're not air jordans though I recently borrowed my buddy's and I like them. No I don't wear beaters at night but on a date I will. I don't just wear typical plaids I wear plaids that really stand out. It's a certain look and it's not just any one particular brand that knows how to do them right. Ezekiel makes a couple good ones, just bought some Oakleys that are great, and anytime Sean John comes out with a patterned button down you KNOW it's probably going to be killer. 

I've always liked tight pants tho...I started that fad in my middle school lol. I've loosened 'em a bit

Earrings, black cadet cap cocked to the side, 5 'o clock douche shadow. Belt hanging down- like a swinging dick. Wife beater or other sleazy shirt. Pants optional. My old wing started wearing the same hat we both had earrings people told him constantly they thought he was me lol.

I dunno if this has been said already but your clothes have to fit you well first. You can have fly gear but if that shit is too big or too tight you look like a mess. Also dunno if you'll like my style. I tend to rock clean cut looks sometimes broish. 

That beign said. More casual for beach bars I'll wear tanks, rainbow sandals, and some dope shorts like chubbies or just some sick jean shorts. Not long, slightly above knee.
