I've been an avid reader in the past, and am looking for some shit to keep my brain fresh.
Stopped reading about 3-4 months ago and am now trying to develop the habit again-
Self-help, making money, fantasy, sci-fi, drama- whatever.
I don't give a fuck what sort of genre so if you boys could drop me a few recommendations from your own personal libraries it'd be SWEET.

Game of Thrones is MY SHIT. I love that show and actually had been thinking of reading the novels- completely blanked out on it though.
I hear they've kept relatively close to the original storyline.
Dune sounds a treat too from what I've read up on it.

I read the entire written part of the Game of Thrones series five years ago.. really struggled to get through the 4th one as it seemed to just be filler.. haven't been able to get through the fifth. If you guys want to read some REAL good fiction.. read Anne Rice's Vampire Chronicles. Amazing amazing series. Lestat is the man

Dune was the fucking shit.
I really enjoyed that book. Gurney Halleck is THE MAN.
Also stole Pimp by Iceberg Slim from my sister, read that. Pretty fucking sweet.
I'll peep Vampire Chronicles since Dune was a def winner.
