Returnofkings.com is a purely chauvinistic community of writers that delve into "sensationalized" discussions just to spark traffic and heated debate. I'm sure several of them know what they're doing, but plenty of them actually believe their own bullshit. I think Roosh himself has come a long way since his beginnings.

Have you looked at website postmasculine.com by Mark Manson
I've known about Mark since way before postmasculine. Mark Manson got his name by fucking Erika Awakening, no one had heard of the guy till he did that. Seriously, that is what sparked his old blog and got dudes paying attention to him. Well come to find out Erika tells us he made all kinds of chode promises to her how he was going to marry her and they'd start a family or some shit. Basically a pack of lies. As far as Mark himself, all I knew of the guy was that he was in the audience when I was speaking at the 2008 21 convention down in Florida and apparently was talking shit or something. Him and his partner Doc Holiday were my first official haters lol.
Aside from that has he ever actually taught you anything about game? If he has let me know. My opinion of Mark is just that he's some tall fratboy type who never had to do much to get laid, mostly because his libido probably isn't that high and so his expectations aren't that high. But also because he espouses the laconic/minimalist style of game, which means he won't actively pursue a girl to get laid. So the only girls he gets are the ones that pursue him. This of course would have a DRASTIC effect on his perception of game. Which fits because for the most part he denies game exists. He doesn't think text game actually works, and apparently decries most of the "seduction" community's tactics and training/improvement methods, e.g. going out and approaching.
The one point of his I can get behind is his linkage between vulnerability and "alphaness". It's a solid point that most guys don't understand.

I looked into his stuff a long time ago for pick up, but never really used it. Obviously there must be a reason why, pretty generic bs.

I would think PUA's would deserve a category of their own wouldn't they? Would probably be hard to generalize PUA's though cause everyone has their own style and opinions, like you guys were saying about MM for example.

My buddy follows his stuff a lot, gets a lot of cute Asian girls but he's white. Can't help but feel that if he developed his charisma he'd probably bang a wider range of girls beyond chicks that dig his look a ton. But his honesty and vulnerability are powerful as well as personal boundaries.

A friend of mine mentioned him to me a while ago and I checked his stuff out and it was nothing special. Tho he's built a very big audience sooo, good for him.

From what I understand about Mark Manso is that he use to post formal pick up articles and then wanted to go mainstream so deleted alot of them and changed his approach to teaching to try to appeal to both sexes more.
