Hate this shit. Cant drink booze as often. Carbs pretty much dont exist except for lunch. Bodyfat is down to 10% tho from 13% 2 months ago. Weigh in at 155 lbs. I'm 6'0. Lean as fuck. Six pack should be in a couple months. Macros are 65/20/15. ( protein, fat, carbs ) intake around 1900-2000 calories. Gotta put in the work tho. Can't wait to get this six pack. Seriously just gonna flaunt that shit all day lol

I don't understand why you're
I don't understand why you're 6' 155lbs and you don't have a 6-pack? You obviously need an ab workout. Big myth that diet is the only thing that shows a 6pack. You need to be doing an ab workout every day.

He probably just has a smaller build. My buddy I workout with is around the same height and weight, he just is lacking size in his legs which brings his weight down a lot.
If anyone is looking for some killer ab exercises check this shit out:

It seems to be extremely effective for me because it keeps constant tension on the abs opossed to your tradition crunch exercises. You gotta really focus on the decline of the exercise, it also gives a great stretch

I disagree with the ab
I disagree with the ab workout everyday theory. I work my abs out directly like once in a blue moon. Theres a certain 'art of posing' though that I learnt from reading up on fitness models. To really show off your abs you gotta suck your belly in as if you were trying to make your belly button touch your spine like I'm doing in the photo here.

Well in his situation I'd do an ab workout every day for sure. It's one of the fastest healing muscle groups you can work it out every day and still give it sufficient time to heal which means you can make fast progress on it. Plus in my case I use it for cardio.
Cool ab video someone posted.

@vince - Wrong. Just flat out wrong bro. That's a broscience myth. People just separate them into two phases because it's easier that way for the average person. It's easier to focus on one thing than juggle two.

Technically, you can with
Technically, you can with certain dieting techniques cut and bulk. But it's far easier to do one or the other. The same way - hypothetically speaking - you COULD pay off all your credit cards at once, or you could FOCUS on ONE at a time and avoid interest costs. People try and do too much at once, and then fail. Focus like a lazor beam on something and excell at it.

@Manwhore: 100% correct, crunches etc are kinda shit though. IMO unless you can't sit up due to weak abs any abs exercies when youre lying down is useless. Hanging leg raises, Ice Cream Makers and Back Levers I highly recommend for core strength.

All the fitness dudes on youtube have great personalities. I guess they are just motivated dudes, like all of us. It's pretty common to see some of them throwing out dating advice as well, I know the Hodge Twins have an entire channel devoted to pickup.

Its the same as every other
Its the same as every other muscle group..If you want toned "washboard" abs then work them frequently with high reps and low/no weight for maybe 15-20 min. If you want bulging "mass" abs then work them with weights and low reps, 2-3 times a week for 30+ min.

Naw, I think what really
Naw, I think what really happens is that guys' abs are all slightly different, and they all come out looking slightly different. But you can't fuck around with abs and just try to get "model" abs, you have to work them HARD to get anywhere with them.

I may not be understanding you properly, but 17% body fat on an ectomorph is not going to look good at all. If your bulking 17% would be the MAX, nobodies gonna look cut up above 12%

Where did you come up with
Where did you come up with those macros?
65% protein is very high, that's over 300g of protien. More than double your bodyweight. Studies show no further benefit for going over 0.82g per pound of bodyweight for resistance training athletes.
You're recomping so I imagine you're going higher in cals on training days vs rest days? Carbs are importnat in the muscle building process and fuel high intensity work. You'd probably be better off bringing protein down to 40% maximum and bringing carbs up to 30-35 and fat up to 25-30. This will definitely be a much more enjoyable diet and you'll probably sleep and recover better with a little more carbs in your diet.
