Choosing a hairstyle
Can't really figure out what style to go for in terms of hair. I've always had short, military styled hair where it's only spiky at the front. I was thinking maybe a longer faux hawk type style or maybe even a comb over at this point. I have pretty thick hair, easily manageable if I take care of it.
Not sure what looks good these days, I see celebrities with the craziest hair and it looks great, just not sure what I should go for. I've had the same haircut for like 12 years...
What do you guys think is timeless or classic? Something that will work in a professional setting but a social setting as well?
When I had hair I used to bleach it and spike it up. Like a boss. Tall as I possibly could get it. PUFF
Bad ass. Wasn't douche at all as I'm sure some of you are picturing it. My mother's a cosmetologist I grew up in a hair salon lol. It was cultured as fuck. ;)

Manwhore- LOL, I was wondering what you meant by "puff", I actually think spiky hair like that might work for me as long as the sides of my head are super short. I have a really circle head. Unless I'm super lean then it's like a triangle/oval looking thing...

Lol my hair lets me rock the beckham if I'm cleaning up, otherwise it's a version of zac effron mixed with bed head/hat hair. That plus a half assed 2 week beard gets a lot of attention

Any man bun fans here? I was walking around a ton today and was bombarded by them. It's painfully easy to tell the ones that get laid and which ones are hoping it'll get them laid being such a hot trend now

Well for now just let your hair grow and trim the sides and neck every now and then.

For the moment i just put product in it and comb it all back. It kind of falls where it may at the fringe through-out the day.
Mines not that long where it'll fall out like that, just yet. I think I'll routinely get the neck and sides trimmed up and let it grow. What style you goin' for?
Seriously though, get a scissor and learn how to cut your hair. I havent paid for haircut since i was 17

I did the faux hawk for a while, might go back to it or a variation of it. Just got my sides trimmed and am growing the top long and spiky.

I tell the barber a faux hawk with a 1.5 on the sides. When I was in Europe these dudes schooled me up on my hair which I just let lay flat. Now I throw some wax and it’s not a perfect faux hawk but basically spiked on top. I get compliments from girls and guys. Defo makes a difference if you have no or little game with the girls. Girls will definitely check you out harder with your hair spiked up. Then, all you need to do is flash a little chest hair and you’re set. ;)

I would go to an expensive hairstylist for the first couple times. Maybe even a gay guy. Watch him/her and take notes then go to a cheaper one and instruct her.

I've been rocking an obnoxiously long quiff and growing my beard out.
Hair on the sides is a 0.5-1.5 fade, top is long enough to put in a man bun but I let it sit like it's my hair-crown. Almost looks like a pompadour.
Keep both beard/hair tightly groomed and lined up so the length of hair juxtaposes how sharp the contours are.
Then rock that with simple button downs/trenchcoat/jeans/chelseaboots and expensive looking jewellery.
Literally got girls opening me asking me what I do for work on the street lol...

What works pretty well for me is to go to pinterest and look for stuff like "men hairstyles 2017". did something similar with clothing when i felt that it was time to change the way i dress and the response from them ladies was pretty nice.
Also some of the spikey stuff seems a bit outdated by now. That was the shit about ten years ago. Trends change.
Dudes, you don’t need to over analyze this. Throw some shit in your hair and make it spikey. I went out on Sunday with out styling my hair at all. Girls were checking me out hard. Oh and I was wearing an American flag bathing suit and a white wrinkled t shirt. Oh and I was on a date. All about confidence dudes
