Choosing a new phone: Galaxy s4 vs. Galaxy s5 vs. IPhone 5s
My phone just went to shit. Using a loaner atm. Trying to pick a new phone, with my current experiences with apple products I have to say I'm not that interested in the iphone but it's still an option. I would prefer one of the Galaxies, I heard great things about both the only thing besides the tech differences is price is what the guy at wireless wave told me. What do you guys think?
I'm leaning more towards the S4 but have heard the S5 might be worth it.
I'm trying to stay away from Samsung for matters of principle but yes I agree they're good phones. I've got the samsung note 2 currently and until I dropped it off my motorcycle it was pretty much the best phone I'd ever had. The battery lasted super long and it was quite fast. The screen was just too fucking big tho fuck that

Yeah I'm leaning more towards samsung especially after seeing the new shit Apple is going to be putting out. Their new products are a joke in my opinion.
Ive had an android phone before and it wasn't too bad at all, I'm willing to give it another try. I notice the note 2 and 3 are huuuge. The s4 isn't that bad but the s5 is getting quite large.
Battery life and speed are my number one areas of concern. I can live without iMessage lol

My recommendation would be none of those. Seriously, I got an LG G3 and it's fucking AWESOME. The only downside is it has a big screen but it's honestly worth it for the resolution of pictures and videos alone.
It has some amazing capabilities and features. For instance, the volume and power buttons are on the back of the phone. Sounds weird but once you get used to it, it's very natural. I get compliments all the time because most people have never seen the phone because it's not one of the big three you mentioned.

I used to have an LG Cookie or some shit in high school, that phone sucked dick LOL I hope they've really changed some of their products around, that was years ago though. I'll check it out when I get a chance soon. Probably shop around and ask the phone techs for their opinion.

It's pretty sweet. Quite large though. I'm still getting used to it since I have been an Iphome user for quite a while but I'm liking it. Plus couldn't beat the 0$ price, got a good buddy at wireless wave to hook me up.

Couple of cool things I've noticed since I got it:
1. You take screenshots by holding down the power button and volume down simultaneously.
2. When you're in your text message inbox you can pinch and zoom in/out to make the text bigger or smaller.
I've been hearing the LG's are fragile the HTC's are the way to go.

I'm loving it dude. The one thing I can't decide between is using "hangouts" or "messaging" for texting. Can't really tell which is better... The camera is fucking nuts!
It doesn't feel super sturdy to be honest but it feels really smooth and light. Probably going to get ghost armor or something and a case as soon as possible. I haven't taken off the protectors it came with yet.
The battery life is wicked too. Used it all day and it's got 50% left. My iphone would have died after 4-5 hours of use.
Yeah the camera is on point.
I've heard great things about HTC as well. I personally use the meesaging app but no specfic reason.
