Detox/Cleanse Knowledge?
Does anyone know any good detox or cleanses? My body is feeling a little off (sick, tired, etc.) I want to switch things up with a 7-10 day cleanse of some sort. I just don't have any experiences with these types of things so if anyone could chime in and help a brother out, I'd appreciate it!
Food: Lots of veggies, specially green leafy, fruits, and lean proteins. Drink only water or juice/smoothies made from scratch. No booze or stimulants.
If you don't already meditate, start now. 10mins of following your breath or sitting still.
Go to a spa and sweat for a while if you feel good doing that.
Yoga -- its amazing for flexibilty, well-being, and getting in touch with your body. It helps to teach being "present" in the physical sense.
Do what you can to improve your sleep quality.
Get a full-body, hot stone massage. Happy ending optional.
You won't need a commercial "detox" if you start on the above.
Drink a gallong of prune juice, works for me.
Definitely do a fast. A entire 24 hour one, which includes sleep.
This will help balance out your hormones and enzymes, and in the process will allow your gastric system to work at its best without being reintroduced to new calories (fats, carbs, protein).
Throughout this I would suggest drinking water throughout the day while 3 of those glasses include raw apple cidar vinegar and raw honey...a tablespoon of each.
And.....thats my prescription to a healthy detox MANNNN
