Does Anyone Else Watch "The Fall"?
Some very interesting stuff.
Huh, Ill raise this one from the dead. Just watched season one. Any pointers?
I love how he moves and gives zero fucks. Psychologically maybe better pictured in Hannibal (tv show) , but I think he's more of a psychopath, while this is a socio.
They're both psychos. Anyone that is that functional in society yet also criminally sociopathic is considered a psychopath. That's my understanding anyway
Sure, he's just had worse upbringing lets say :). I also liked the themes of well, like frowning of men on how she acts , and how she kinda thinks her actions have no consequences, like she's not accountable because what she's doing is legal. Something like that.
In general I perceive women have almost zero guilt about the way they act, while men, especially those that TRY to be playerish I kinda detect a shitload of guilt. Same with me. If you can get what Im trying to say. Maybe your thoughts about that?
That's actually the point, she's acting like a self-entitled male. And to be honest from a purely selfish point of view that's one of the hottest parts about it. As far as the "player guilt" thing, that only works on up 'n comers. E.g. past a certain point you should have no guilt and no one can even attempt to make you question yourself.
It's a pretty standard societal setup. If you've got weakness it'll be poked and prodded at, any sort of self-conscious fragility will be "found out" until there is none.
Appreciate this.
Really appreciate The Fall!
