One of the end results of practice, if you even want to talk about results in this game, is that it enables us to come back full circle and reclaim our humanity with a renewed sense of acceptance of our gifts and strengths as well as our shortcomings and weaknesses.

Very good point. A lot of guys I've seen go down a path where they learn to lie or manipulate, or even coerce to get the results they want. They learn how easy it is to get away with stuff like that. I've found that if you truly want to become good/great, that keeping things honest will give you no choice but to become even more awesome.
