Experts on non-verbal language, help figuring out this behavior
One of the guy at the restaurant where I work was talking to the girl at the front desk. He stands up every 20 seconds and walks to the front desk where the girl is standing. Then he goes back to sit down. 20 seconds later, he stand up and walk to the girl, and so on. Does this have any meaning at all? I have some theories but I needed experts.
It doesn't mean anything. He probably shouldn't be standing up so often and walking over to her. Was he sitting far away from her? He was probably trying to close the distance to get close to her and used this as an excuse.

No, he wasn't sitting far away from her. He was sitting about a meter and a half away from her and when he stood up, he got closer for several times He kept the conversation this way.
