We're fixing up the slider.. I think it looks a bit too feminized at this point, and I preferred having more than 3 buttons visible, but the site does look a bit more professional and streamlined. Whatcha all think?

I think it looks way better.
I think it looks way better. If you want to make it less feminized though, I would remove the kisses and the hot/wow icons. Maybe play around with the colors of the arrows you click to change buttons too.

If you could make a text
If you could make a text preview of a thread show up every time your mouse hovers above a thread title just like in rsd's forum, then that would be great. Overall, the site looks better now that the navigation's less cluttered.

I know you wanted feedback on
I know you wanted feedback on the main site but this is more for the forums. I'd recommend moving all the success stories to a different section OR combing them under one sticky thread. It's very clunky to have so many sticky's on the front page. it's over 25% of the first page. I think the same "effect" can be had from a different section that is easy to find.
IE. you sticky one thread highlighting some of the details and maybe one or two success stories. Then link to the other section of success stories where the rest can be posted.
This way if someone is interested they can keep reading the reviews while providing more space for the first page of the forum. One of the benefits here would be that interesting topics will stay on the front page longer so more people have a chance of checking them out. I'm fairly confident that on most forums once something leaves the first page unless someone goes "looking" to bump it it's lost in limbo.
Cheers,
Steve

I think it's a good idea for
I think it's a good idea for now. The reason being is because this forum is still just a small group of bad asses. ;P If you choose to keep investing time to GROW the forums(automatic if you're sticking with the product business due to word of mouth) then at a certain point I think you should have separate forums so people can choose what they want to read about.
If you did that right now I think the other forums would be more empty than a dead horses pussy.

What I'm going to do is
What I'm going to do is create a filtering mechanism for the forum. So it will all be on the same forum, but you can choose from a drop-down menu which types of threads you want to view. E.g. "Field report threads", "Success Stories", etc.

Yo. I stopped posting here for a while for some reason.
Anyway, in terms of site feedback, you'd seriously increase readability if you bumped up your font size a couple notches.

Yeah... like, the articles etc. It's what, 10 or 12px?
Try AT LEAST 14px or 16px... or higher. plus 130 to 150% line height.
p { font-size 16px; line-height: 24px; }
... or something.

Heh. I forgot how much of a difference in readability line-height made.
It's funny but I tried to fix that weeks back, thought I'd fixed the correct css.. damn files kept reloaded old version. Really bizarre. Some kind of "inherit" command from up in the code was rewriting it (magic) or my hosting provider was using backup files or something. Anyways I figured it out.. tell me what you think, thx for the heads up.

Yeah stuff like that can get
Yeah stuff like that can get weird real fast. Anyway, I dig it.
I'm not a huge fan of Arial for body text, but that's more my opinion than anything else. Also I'd probably break up my paragraphs more. Stuff I write, especially sales copy where readability is critical to grab the sale (doesn't matter how good your writing is if nobody reads it...), I will rarely go on for more than two or three sentences per paragraph... My most recent example would be Sasha's sales letter for his seminar in Berlin if you saw that.
And, as often as possible, I make the first paragraph a single sentence on a single line.
Anyway... I could talk about shit like this all day lol. Good day sir.
Also, you got spam. Some assclown with a text spinner is trying to snag links.

Hah. Actually you have most
Hah. Actually you have most of the pieces, it's more a matter of organization. You have a "big idea" and you have tons of proof in terms of student results.
Urgent Problem + Unique Promise + Unquestionable Proof + User-Friendly Proposition
That's what you need to close a sale. And you have most of it, maybe with the exception of a really clear and compelling offer/call to action. You just need to put it all together in the right order.
http://directdatingsummit.com is the link to the Berlin seminar.
(My simple formula for sales presentations: OSBO - Opportunity, Story (pain > agitation > solution is the best story structure), Benefits, Offer. You'll see the letter fundamentally follows this structure... with heavy elaboration)
