I'd like to break it down into a skill set that can be practiced and learned. I'm going to learn how to rap, I would welcome any of you on here who want to develop the skill set as well.
Are there good youtube videos on developing this skill set? Who here knows what's up. We can discuss the fundamentals and work on breaking it down into drillable exercises.

There was this on girl who was there with another girl and two guys. You could tell she got around, but she was a lot of fun. We ended up just rapping with them.
The girl was pretty buzzed and even said that she hadn't rapped in her life. She was just saying anything and busting random rhymes. She had us all laughing.

Nice! I've seen this so many times, this guy nailed the problem. I feel like the issue is also vocal projection. E.g. if you don't know how to "drop" it or punch it, it comes off weak.
Of course this is my pure whiteboy opinion. I am just starting out here ;)

Work on rhythm first, then delivery, then content. But honestly, the latter is irrelevant.
A great rapper can turn garbage into gold purely off his flow and attitude.
