Like here's a dude who nobody gave a shot- fucking begged his way onto the team with a bad-ass lettering writing campaign.
Star gets injured and he's like, "This is my time" it's like, "I may never in my life have another moment like this, in this game, to make my mark- so I'm going to do what I can do, however small, to step the fuck up"

And the confidence he had from the injured star player who obviously had NO CLUE if this kid would actually step up but told everyone he would anyway because that's what good people do- they make others around them better simply by telling them they will be great. I fucking LOVE this shit.
