The "HELL YEAH/FUCK NO" Rule
So I recently had an insight I wanted to share with you guys. I was gaming this really cute girl and I was into her. But then she said something to me that really shut me off hardcore. Like... I just stopped so fast she flew through the windshield, hit a tree, and a bear came and dragged her body into the woods, so to speak. What she said was:
"I'm not going to chase you. You have to chase me."
I almost went ahead and tried to subtly shift the frame by getting her to qualify herself and tell me why she was worth chasing, but for some reason her saying that, and the context of the interaction, just caused me to shut off. My gut was telling me that she had no intention of investing anything in me.
It reminded me of a business principal called the Hell Yeah/Fuck NO Rule. Basically if you're having trouble making a decision, ask yourself if the answer is "HELL YEAH!" ...If not, the answer should be "FUCK NO!"
After thinking about it long and hard, I rationalized my reaction as going through that process... And with interacting with girls there have to be two HELL YEAHS. I was HELL YEAH about this chick. She wasn't HELL YEAH about me. Therefore, when she said I had to chase her, the answer was...
FUCK NO.
================================================================================
So today I was thinking about this HELL YEAH/FUCK NO rule and how I could expand on it to help all of us...
What you're doing is taking yourself and putting yourself at one of two extremes. Yes or No. In The Way of the Superior Man it's described as "Living on your edge." There's no room for wishy washy pussyfooting in between. We as men run into problems when we live in that in-between grey area. That area is called the Chode Woods. The symptoms are insecurity, procrastination, lack of drive, indecisiveness, inability to lead, being with a woman you hate, working a job that you hate and general suck.
The ability to say FUCK NO is, in my opinion, more important (and more difficult) than the ability to say HELL YEAH. The FUCK NO is the walls of your personal boundaries. Let me tell you about a business man named Jeff that I know. He is 100% chode. Here are situations where he was too much of a pussy to say FUCK NO:
-WELL, I GUESS I'll lose my virginity on the slutty girl I just hired
-WELL, I GUESS she's pregnant now
-WELL, I GUESS I'll marry her for the kid
-WELL, I GUESS I'll accept her cheating on me
-WELL, I GUESS I'll get divorced
-WELL, I GUESS I'll get engaged again to the first woman to come along. Even though she's still married to her husband that beats her, has three kids (one from being raped by her uncle) and another on the way.
-WELL, I GUESS I'll let my business fail because I have to stay home and take care of her and her kids
...and a million other little puss-outs in between. This sounds like Jerry Springer, but I swear that every single one of those things really happened... and no they don't live in a trailer park... yet. In every case, Jeff should've said FUCK NO! But he lives in Chode Woods where he's too scared to say HELL YEAH, let alone FUCK NO.
==================================================================
This goes for other people too. Ask yourself, "Is this girl HELL YEAH about me?" ...If not FUCK NO. Why would you date someoone that wasn't as excited about you as you are about them?
"Are these investors HELL YEAH or are they indecisive?" ...If not, FUCK NO. Why would you do business with someone who didn't have faith in you?
"Is this person HELL YEAH about working for you?" ...you get it by now.
Hope this helped you,
~SuperVillain
Poor bastard. Did you try to talk to Jeff? What a moron
Did you call her out for saying that?
It defintely seemed like a FUCK NO situation because it was beyond a shit test. More like a fucked up mindset, that maybe needed fixing
^ He's got a good point
Nah, I don't even know where to begin... I've known the guy for five years. He's one of those friends they tell you that you'll lose when you learn pickup. It breaks my heart to see some of my old friends suffering from their own fear and lack of confidence like that.

I think you're closer to the mark than you know Meow. It wasn't so much what she said, as the context. It was a phone convo and I was trying to get her out for a D2. If it was in person, I most likely would've stuck in there, but yeah... I just realized she wasn't that into me and it would be an uphill battle, so I said laterz.
...ANYWAYS forget her. She only caused me to remember something kinda cool and think about it. Next time I see a hot girl, I'm gonna say, "Talk to the hottie? hell yeah or fuck no? HELL YEAH!"
No room in between to puss out.
I think you just needed to pull her validation julin style big time, then she would chase without even realizing it

fuck that don't make it so gamey. Addressing her like a human being woulda worked lol, maybe a good response would have been " or we can enjoy each others presence and have fun, that doesn't so bad does it?"
MW, why can't I quote anyone anymore?

Nevermind, found my helmet.
Hey, the chick is 22, she just got out of a 5 year relationship. She's pretty inexperienced and naive, plus she comes with some wierd beliefs and she was talking negatively about me & my business etc.
HER : "Why don't you just get a job?"
ME: "I like my freedom and I like to be the one calling the shots."
HER: "Well you have to do what your customers tell you... so you're not that free."
ME: "Honey, there's a night and day difference between working for yourself and being an employee."
I know how to handle shit-tests. I wasn't even attempting to pass these. I felt like these came from her true self and I clashed with it. Then later she said the whole chasing thing and I was like THATS IT. MOVING ON haha.
So I wanted to add some value to the forum with my train of thought that came from it. My perspective on being masculine and decisive about your choices and not (what you guys are suggesting) taking the grey area in between where you're undecided, putting effort into gaming some girl that doesn't know her ass from a hole in the ground ;)))
