Hello I'm new here
Okay so, I'm new here, and I know this isn't anything related to game or anything like that but since i feel a little subconscious about it, I ifgured I'd ask. My normal weight is usually around the 150-160's, I measured my weight about a week ago and I now weigh in at 190.5 pounds (I haven't worked out in about 2-3 maybe 4 years). Only reason I measured my weight is because of my parents being worried about my health (the weight gain). My question is, would you guys have any recommendations about getting back into shape/working out and living a healthier lifestyle? (Like workout routines, effective diets no fad diets please, etc.)
Any and all recommendations welcomed.
I'll do a proper introduction later guys, but for now thank you
Do something physical you enjoy, weight training, basketball, running, powerlifting, jiu-jitsu,etc. If you force yourself to exercise in a manner you don't like you will not stick with it.
In terms of diet, get interested in cooking and learn to cook healthy meals that taste good. Look up recipes for healthy meals and make them, this will make the process enjoyable. If your having a hard time feelin satified on lower calorie diets than try intermittant fasting, which is pretty much skipping breakfast and waiting to eat until later in the day. Drink coffee or another caffeine beverage that is zero calories or low calorie to keep yourself satisfied until you break your fast. If you do this you can eat some fairly large meals later in the day, some junk too, and stay within an acceptable caloric range.
You've really gotta get invested in a healthy lifestyle and accept it as something you want to do forever, not just a temporary fix to get your weight back down. When you start feeling the benefits of a healthy lifestyle you will be glad your living it :)
Welcome to the forum bro
Check out Kinobody. Aggressive Fat Loss and Warrior Shredding Program. He's the real deal, take my word for it lol.
You can drop a lot of weight very quickly and reap a lot of benefits if you just do some calisthenics every day in your home. Don't be a faggot. Do them every day. At the end of two weeks evaluate where you're at.
5 sets of 10-20 pushups
3 sets of 20-40 squats (no barbell just do the motion)
3 sets of 10-20 bulgarian lunges
4 sets of 5-15 dips (use the corner of counter in kitchen or something similar)
Do this for abs (every day):
I second kinobody. He's dieting is easiest for beginners.
Also agree fully with callesthenics/body weight excercises. Especially for someone new to strength training. Minimal equipment and no membership fees. It's where I started out myself
What I meant to say is don't let yourself be a faggot. ;)
You got it, holmes.
