Hey Fellas

Just started a new field report thread on rsd. I'll still be posting everything here, as always, so no need to go over there.
But figured I would let you guys know. Would love feedback on either forum. I really use this shit to get better, I'm not just posting my reports to look cool, like seriously, I really don't care lmao (I think the shaking legs post is enough to prove that). I just knokw that writing these things in DETAIL and getting feedback from you guys will make me better, so I do it.

Cool. And YES - writing things out is massively beneficial in ANY context. "The brain is a bad place for serious thinking" as I once heard someone put it. Writing things out is amazing for clarifying your thoughts and understanding things better. Everyone who isn't doing it should start immediately.
Looking forward to the report :)

Yeah, I've been using writing and meditation, in combination, to stay out of my head for a while now. It's absolutely incredible and also, sometimes you really create some beautiful pieces of writing and it's like, "wow, that was in my head?" and now I'm also using a pretty intense weight training routine to help with this as well. So I'm taking some pretty massive amounts of action to stay out of my head and I really think it's working. Like I feel super super icy when I'm out. And the ice is only getting colder ; )
one of the biggest issues in my life has been that I think wayyy too much, like constantly haha and I analyze shit SO FUCKING HARD and if you don't get that stuff out of your head, it can really fuck with you.

Yeah I can totally relate to that. Swap out meditation for running (minimalist style, on trails, no music etc) and I'd say the same thing for myself.

Oh word, yeah, I go on 30-45 minute walks almost every day as well. I love it. Especially where I live, it's cool to just relax and walk and people watch without feeling the need to get involved and approach.

Guys, how the hell can i think MORE?
Like i'm super chill, to the point where i don't need to say anything to anyone for hours and would superficially analyze what's going on. It messes up my interactions sometimes, cause i haven't got all the whirling thoughts like other dudes have, so i'll just stay chill and assume shit to happen. And it doesn't.

@Gogo:
Action vs Reaction. If you're sitting there not doing anything, even thinking. You're in observer-mode, or spectator-mode as some would call it.
You want to be the person actually doing something i.e. taking action. Not sitting there reacting to your environment. You should definitely not focus on starting to think more, that gets you stuck in your head. Just act!
Whenever I, personally, feel I'm slipping into observer-mode and out of action taking-mode I try to snap out of it and force myself to interact with someone. Scan quickly for the first semi-hot girl and just approach. Because when I'm in observer-mode 100% it's super hard for me to get out of it, cause I get to comfortable.
Just act!
Wonder
