Hey fellas need your feedback on the lay-out of the forum, ASAP

It's definitely improving I'd say..

I really like how it looks right now.

Awesome. As opposed to what it looked like before? What didn't you like about the previous look? 

You every think about making the different dicussion topics having their own pages? The whole color coding works well right now, but as the forum grows (which it obviously is!), it's going to be cluttered and tough to navigate.

You could do it kinda like the Bodybuilding.com forum and break down all the discussions into sub-topics. You could have online dating, funny pickup lines, text game, music, health/nutrition/lifting, money making, lay reports, etc. At this point in time adding too many topics would make the site too expansive, but in due time you may need it, I've seen so many new members posting lately.

I think the forum you linked looks generic and gives me a first impression that I just clicked onto a scrub website.

I like the icons he has next to the subforums at the top though.

Yeah I like his little symbols too. 

That's a good point Meow and something I've thought about extensively. I have come up with a different solution and the color coding is the first step. I'm going to go a different route altogether than creating separate forums by adding a sorting functionality instead. So basically everyone will be on the same forum, but you'll be able to click a couple buttons or choose options from a drop-down menu, and only choose to see "dating" topics, or dating topics and money making. Or maybe just posts from advanced members, etc. I want to keep everyone and everything together. 

Differences I'm noticing that are good:

Looks more professional 

Easier to navigate

Rich text editor is pretty epic.

Somethings I think could improve the forum:

Less colours in the colour scheme, I only say this because in marketing simple design is great design. Think facebook, Google, Apple etc.

A text convo specifc thread creator. This would help newer users find useful resources, and perhaps people would start adding to it.

I don't understand that last one baby. Explain 

You understand the point of the colors right? To organize the forum, so you guys can pick out which threads you want to read, by topic. At a certain point in this forum's existence, those other colored threads are going to be utilized a lot more.

Anyone else think the font on the main forum is kind of hard to read? Almost like the letters are dashed or something? Weird optical illusion maybe. Anyways, the night is dark and full of terrors, but forum changes are coming soon ye shall see!
