Hinge
Guys.... Hinge is fucking badass. Found it reading through the forums! Thanks for that.
How well do do you guys succeed on there?
Any message gold or good stories?
Naw not me, never had heard of it before I believe it was Aequeevus that brought it up. :p
So far every chick, to my standards, is a 7 or higher so that's rad. Also, the way it makes you set up a profile makes it so easy so seem fun and cool yourself, but it's also easy to start a conversation because it gives you a good amount of options.
No no success yet, or messages, but it's only been a day lol with time we shall see

I like it when you talk dirty to me, bb.

I used to have hinge, didn't transfer over when they tried to do the paid version, but I think it is free again? Hinge was more like coffee meets bagels - "less" about hooking up, "more" about dating. Quality of girls was higher in general - generally more educated/career oriented and the girls were generally cuter versus tinder. At least that's their angle and how it was before.
That's pretty neat. Could you explain how it works a bit now? Maybe I'll re-download it.
Sure thing.
It's the same as before with better quality women and looking more like "dating". I haven't been able to search around too much, work takes most of my time these days.
You sign up, add bitchin ass photos of yourself, add some personal info (you smoke, drink, drugs, religious, want kids, etc) and in between that there's space for three different questions on your profile. You get to pick from a pool of questions (embarrassing memory, guilty pleasure, what would you eat as your last meal, and a lot more) and these are spread across your profile in between your pics.
For "swiping" you have the option to "heart" any one thing on a chicks profile either a pic or one of her Q/A's with the option to add a comment about it. If the girl likes you, it opens the connection for messaging. Or to swipe left you just hit the X at the bottom of the profile.
It is free now, but I haven't been on enough to figure out the difference just yet. I assume it only lets you like so many chicks in the day.
I will I'll say it's somewhat more time consuming than tinder/bumble/okc/picke/feeld (so far) because you, or at least I, want to throw in a comment every time for "better" chances. I may change from curating my comments to just some standard opener for the harder/more basic profiles.
That's about what I can tell you so far.
I've been using Hinge on and off for several years. Much more of a dating vibe, but the girls are usually 7+, smart, and committed to meeting. Probably best match to actual meetup ratio. The willingness of girls to meet (along w/attractiveness) is pretty much the most imporant part of online dating for me and Hinge has that on lock. It's pretty good out here in Cali but it was even better in NYC with girls often matching with me first and sending the first message.
Hmm that's good to know
