How to increase testosterone 20% and decrease cortisol 25% in two minutes
Awesome ted talk on body language and how that can influence testosterone, cortisol levels (stress hormone) and feelings of power.
Assuming a power pose by taking up space and keeping your chin high for only 2 minutes can raise testosterone by 20% and decrease cortisol by 25%. There was even a study showing that MBA students that did a power pose before going into a job interview out performed the MBA students who did a submisse pose before going into a job interview.
This is fucking awesome! If you can take up space and hold a power pose, you can effectively increase your sense of confidence and power. This would be very cool to do in social situations. Fuck, I'm going to be walking around my house with my hands in a Usain Bolt screaming "IS there no one else" (troy) or "are you not entertained, is this not why you are here" (gladiator)

Its human biology. I'm currently reading about animal behavior in one of my text books for school. They mention certain poses and actions that attract females and assert dominace, on a chemical level. This is totally the same idea
