How to move this forward

So I asked this chick out to a formal thing on FB and haven't gotten a response. It's retarded but I don't have her number and I never run into her on the street. I know she got the message. I don't really care what she says but I need an answer. I'm wondering what I should send her to get a response that doesn't come off as being an ass but at the same time lets her know that I am about to ask someone else if she doesn't respond. Bonus points if it helps in getting a yes. All I can think of is something along the lines of,
"Hey, so have you made up your mind yet? I need to know if I should ask someone else."
This seems terrible to me and most likely ends in getting zero response/rejection. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Naw you always double book. Ask the other girl anyway. And ask another couple of girls as well.
