I Cannot Believe I'm Living Through The Most Exciting Election In History

I had this weird experience one time, where I was staying at a hotel, went down to the common room to get breakfast. There was a TV in the corner. With a news show just like this during the Obama/Romney campaign. Then I saw everybody else watching it in rapt attention... one dude with his mouth open, cereal falling out of his spoon halfway to his mouth.

The shitstorm is the fact that the GOP is abandoning ship on their front runner 30 days away from the election. Paul Ryan disinvited Trump from his own rally. The presidential nominee is (finally) becoming toxic in such a way that even Republicans, who are known for being batshit insane on many things, are coming down on him and calling for his resignation. This has never happened before in the history of this country. Something similar happened when the Republicans knew Bob Dole would lose because the RNC defunded his campaign, but they didn't have big party officials straight up telling people that he should step down.

But yeah I'm interested in seeing what you guys think of this.

When Obama originally ran in 2008 a bunch of computer scientists and staticians put together models for analyzing polls and predicting elections. These incredibly smart bastards are able to predict the outcome of every senate race and state within an insane margin. The most famous pollster of them all (Nate Silver's team at fivethirtyeight.com) predicted who would win every state, but was wrong with North Carolina which was won by something like a half-percent margin. He and several other pollsters did this TWICE with the federal elections and also every senate race and governorship. How impressive is that?? I read somewhere that it's like throwing a coin, while blindfolded, off the Empire state building, placing a shot glass at the bottom, and saying that the coin will land where I place the shotglass. It's fantastic because we don't have to jerk off and spread hearsay about who's gonna win and who's gonna lose. We can just look at the experts and they'll give us their percentages! fivethirtyeight has Hilary at an 80%+ chance of winning, and they tend to be more conservative with their numbers. Most other reputable pollsters (and by reputable, I mean guys who have successfully predicted elections with these insane margins in the past!) have Hilary with higher percentages. It's not the liberal media conspiracy to prevent you from finding the truth lmao. It's science, based off historical trends and polling data. Did these red pill bro science clowns predict elections with the margins I'm talking about here? Of course not, but some people can't stand to see "their team" lose, and this is the result. I highly recommend everyone reading this check out these pollsters if you have an interest in politics. electionprojection.com also has a good track record, but it has opinion articles written by a guy who dedicated his life to Jesus and hates Hilary, so check him out if that's your thing. If you prefer a liberal bias, electoral-vote.com has a good track record with its numbers, but comes with leftist opinion articles.

I can't stand the idea of Trump as president because he's a racist and a bigot, and has created deep divides in this country. But no I don't blame him for his private locker room talk, even though it demonstrates he's certainly someone who lacks skill with and understanding of women. But yes, when a woman's ready, she's ready. And if a woman perceives you in a certain way then she wants you to do what you want to do. And yeah sometimes you start with her vajayjay. Over the years there's been quite a few instances where after a certain amount of time spent with a woman I've looked into her eyes and slipped my hand down the front of her pants. Or I've bent down lifted up her dress and kissed her between her legs. And the effect is like electricity, eyes rolling in the back of her head, utter pleasure, an explosion of eroticism and emotion in her mind that a woman will only get to experience a few times in her lifetime, if at all. He's describing a type of experience that for the rare subset of men that get to experience it, it takes an incredible amount of skill and empathy to achieve. But for a bigoted, exploitative millionaire, it's a loophole he's been able to cram his lego fist through. But no I still don't blame him for it. And.. Ivanka Trump is one of the most amazing women to every walk this earth, and he raised her. That says something for that man. Plus yes he's an incredible businessman and potentially could do great things for this country, except for the fact we'd have to put up with a complete devolution in race relations and discrimination. 

^This is a well-thought out post man thanks. And yes, Ivanka is incredible, probably the only person in that entire campaign who I respect. I find it hard to give Trump credit for her, however, given that the rest of his kids are complete fuck wits. Ivanka seems like a fluke and a miracle and I'm greatful that she's out there. For the record, I don't actually care that he grabs vaginas, this whole "scandal" is an excuse for the world to come down on him harshly, and I'm grateful that we have it.

The only thing I would disagree with in that post is the idea that he's a great business man. Check this out: Every great business man throughout the world has all these people who come out and say things like, "I invested with Manwhore and I made tons of cash!" "Manwhore was a great mentor to me and taught me so much about business." "I was on the way to being completely ruined, but I got with this clever businessman called Manwhore and he saved me from being fucked up!" Has anyone ever come out and said things like this with Trump? Not that I'm aware of, if anyone has any examples then I'm open to seeing what's up. The only thing we see with Trump is shit like, "He didn't pay up when the job was done (tons of contractors)" "He stiffed me when it was time to pay" "He took my cash and didn't teach me shit (Trump University)" "I did business with Trump and lost money" There's the Trump hotel, sure, but he doesn't even run that. The people who do run it just took his name for the positive branding.

Well the proof is in the pudding. He's obviously a solid businessman. I'm sure he would do more for this country economically than Hillary could, who's buried so deeply in graft she can't even see any other way of doing economics. 

He said serveral times that he wants to default on our national debt. Basically every economist in the world says this would send our inflation through the roof, send our national credit rating to the ground, serverely hurt our banks (since most of the national debt is held by Americans rather than China as everyone seems to think), and basically just fuck our economy in general. He also wants to cut taxes on the poor defenseless rich people.

He also said several times he'd tax the rich a one time tax and erase the debt. He's gone back and forth as they all have. I'm not getting into a he said she said debate on politics that's asinine and I'm not trying to defend this guy. 

Its cool, I know I sound like the biggest anti-Trump shill on planet Earth right now, but there's never been anything like this before. Like I repect McCain, I respect Romney, and I even respect some of their positions on things. Politics is one of my primary hobbies, and what's interesting about Trump is that the more you pay attention to him, the more shit you find.

Agree with everything except for the statement that Trump is an incedible businessman. Elon Musk is a good businessman. Trump is a good *promoter*, but his business skills and knowlege are sub-bar. Granted "business" is a vague term but I'm referring to building companies that add some value to society, reward shareholders and employees, and have staying power. After the original Trump Tower, all Trump's ventures have basically ridden on his brand and name.

I watched this 2 hour in-depth documentary on both candidates (link below) on Frontline a few weeks ago. I highly recommend this it's quite well done. It dives into Trump's business history. Also gave me a new respect for H. Clinton (I was and still am pretty skeptical, but there's no denying she's one of the most briliant, skilled, and experienced politicians of our era).

I agree about Hillary. I also would say it's no fault of hers she was born into a system where a woman has to fight and claw and pillage her way to the top to become president. I appreciate hearing about Trump not actually being all that good of a businessman. That being said there's a difference between millionaries, and critics. 

Yes, but he didn't work for it. He started out with millions gifted to him from his dad, who bankrolled Trump with tens of millions.

I'm not going to argue how much his dad gifted him none of us know that. The dude's made millions that's my only point. 

Consider the following:

Trump takes the stage in New York to make his concession speech. He looks up at the sky in solemn silence. His supporters are booing and screaming obscenities. The camera zooms in on Trump's face with tears beginning to well up in his eyes. He opens his mouth... "Madam President..." His lips quiver and the crowd erupts in anger and the boos become deafening. "Now now... its ok... its ok..." A tear rolls down his cheek. Seconds that feel like minutes pass. He opens his mouth again, almost sobbing... "Madam President... you now have a Democratic Senate and House of Representatives... Now make America great again." Trump slowly turns and walks off stage in complete silence.

And that's why she lost. Trump got a million FEWER votes than Romney, but over 5 million people showed up for Obama that did not show up for her. The blue team just didn't like her enough.
