If you guys haven't seen this yet.. you really need to. Very intense
That was pretty awesome. I appreciate stuff like that. It makes me think of my family and how they think I'm a huge fuck up. They've flat out said they think I must be miserable.
I'm 27. Unmarried. No kids. Own and run a small business. Date girls whenever I want. Eat whatever I want. Work whenever I want.
The only time I feel miserable is even thinking of being married, having kids and working a 9-5 job for somebody else. And even worse... maintaining that bullshit. Haha, no effin thanks.
Supervillain, so what part of all that makes you a fuck up in their eyes?
Supervillain, so what part of all that makes you a fuck up in their eyes?
probably the part where his family follows social conditioning blindly without accepting his happiness with the current situation.
Just a guess though
My grandfather got married to my grandmother at 18. She was 22. She considered herself an old maid. haha! That's just how their generation is. Go to school. Get a good job. Get married. Have kids. The American Dream. Bullshit, bullshit, bullshit.
Things are different nowdays. You're "secure" job is not secure. They tell EVERYBODY to go to college. I don't mean to say education is bad. It's the best thing to invest in. BUT only if it's a passion. Not with the goal of having some "secure" job. You really will be miserable that way.
