Thoughts?

I've seriously thought about starting a porn company before, may still do it if I have time.

I laughed at times where I'm

I laughed at times where I'm sure that wasn't the author's intention.

I found the girl who said incredulously that "why is it hard to understand a girl enjoying her sexuality" (Asa Akira), to be insightful (I used this recently to good effect).

The core is that the girls who started a business and learned the game (Jenna Jamenson) were (relatively) happy and rich, while the ones who don't understand "Pimping and Hoeing" (Bree Olson) are bitter "There are no royalties in this industry... Now to start a buisnes... etc." ... you mean like Jenna Jameson did? lol

Another big takeaway is that the smart girls probably just retain their anonymitty and exclusively escort for the money (and many of these pornstars escort/strip on the side and use porn to build their brand thus upping their earning potential while self-employed) and if our society was more permissible sexually that would be the better/safer/more profitible/less stigmatising choice. Hence why girls like Bibi Jones got into it because of "all they were promised" or the first example of Lawrence Fishbornes daughter, it was the money plus other stuff that was promised to them that influenced their decision, what else they thought porn would lead to.

Basically it's probably a dumb decision for a girl to just work in the industry without starting her own brand/business or directing. Or, if she is a worker only, then do so an Asa or Belladona who genuinely loves it. And with Asa that means defending it here in the USA. And with Belladonna who is European and thus it's not as stigmatised, not being penalized as much.

The other example, Bella Knox who got into Duke, that was idotic because the $60,000/y degree she is paying off with porn is now severely less valuable, but maybe she's a smart girl and she'll use that ivy league education to start a business (she won't be getting a normal job is my guess).

Bella Knox will get an extra

Bella Knox will get an extra $10k+ a year because of her past porn career. Probably more.

“Most girls get their first experience in gonzo films – in which they’re taken to a crappy studio apartment in Mission Hills and penetrated in every hole possible by some abusive asshole who thinks her name is Bitch. And these girls, some of whom have the potential to become major stars in the industry, go home afterward and pledge never to do it again because it was such a terrible experience.”

- Jenna Jameson

^ That's a woman that not only learned the industry and ruled it, but also had a completely sympathetic stance towards the women embittered by their experience in it.
