What are you? I'm interested in this because I think it applies to the topic of validation. Personally, I'm super introverted. Always have been that way. So manwhore immediately noticed that I was looking for external validation all over the fucking place. This is obviously horrible for game, but I think the fact that I am introverted made it really fuck up for me. My natural state is to be internally validated. I don't gain energy from other people, I gain it from myself. That is the difference between introverted and extroverted people, at least that's what I have learned. I'm wondering, therefore, if validation is as important for extroverts.

Re: Introverted/Extroverted
No it's not true that extroverts are internally validated and introverts are externally validated. There's no connection there are plenty of extroverts that look for external validation.

Being introverted is good man. Becoming "enlightened", or a "leader" requires a high degree of both. Think about it. A good leader must absolutely be introverted enough to handle details on that kind of level, be able to think ahead on that level without losing his shit or becoming paranoid. But the actual act of leadership itself is definitely an extrovert behavior.

@beargrizz:

Funnily enough I actually took this test today: http://humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/JTypes2.asp?inf_contact_key=dd2bd1323aeb...

I got ENTJ:

Extravert
Intuitive
Thinking
Judging

Similar to Franklin D Roosevelt and Steve Jobs hehe.

I dunno whether I believe it as an ultimate indicator of who I am though, humans are too diverse to be either black or white. I'd say on some levels I'm an extravert and at the same time I'm really introverted. Just the same way as I'm pretty switched on, but can come out with the most ridiculous dumb shit ever.

No need to start labeling yourself, just be.

@kris:

I got

Introverted
Intuition
Feeling
Perceiving

Lol....exact opposite. Similar to Homer, Virgil, and William Shakespeare. I think I should start writing books

But I agree with you. This shit is just a labeler. I was "slight" in all the categories and I'd probably answer some of those questions differently each time. I feel stuff like that helps people gain an identity because they're too scared to find out for themselves. Dunnooo...

This is some deep stuff and true. As an introvert myself the growth and step up will be much quicker.
