Just How Sensitive Can People Be?
Changed my profile picture on fb today and captioned it, "The war between the sexes is over. We won the second women started doing pole dancing for exercise".
The flack I'm getting is SO ridiculous its laughable. I quoted 'Crazy Stupid Love', one of the most stereotypical rom coms of our time and all these SJWs and feminists, hot and ugly are hitting me up and trying to 'make a case' on why this is wrong. UHHHH...
Talk about sensitivity...like any sane individual reading this would laugh their asses off as to how hilarious the statement is, but I guess not.
Funny, the photo is one of my best taken shots and yet its singlehandedly the least liked photo I've ever posted.
This just in: I've gotten unfriended and blocked over this. Wuuuut?
Am I the Arabian equivalent of Donald Trump now?
Where'a my damn billions and humongous twitter following!
What the fuck dude. What are they saying?
"You should really retract that statement cause its offensive"
"I thought you were better than that"
^And more shit like that. Only two people had the audacity to comment on the photo and that was a bit tempered
"This is disappointing"
"Well that was in poor taste"
lol Ohhhhh Kkkkkk
You live in Europe jihad? Cuz I live in Dixieland and I can't even wrap my mind around this shit.
Also hit em with this dope trap mix and see if they get pissy:
Well.. can you see why it's offensive, at least? Lol
Hahahahahhahahahaha holy shit man
nah east coast US
WOW
someone just commented
"Being ohysically attractive doesn't make it ok to be an ass"
OMG...i should just tool these people rn but I'm outnumbered its insane.
am i the only one whose seen this movie?? Its Ryan Gosling for geezus christ sakes.
Now i'm just replying to all comments with a link to the movie.
They dont deserve words cause thats just gonna start a war not worth fighting especially on social media. Lol love these keyboard warriors. Atleast I know who to cut out of my life ha!
First of all, it's an ASS thing to say. Any time a guy "gets" a girl to do something, then he calls her a slut for it, he's being an asshole. Personally I can't stand that shit, I've torn dudes up for that behavior before.
That's essentially what you did here.
Just read your earlier comment. Yes i totally see why its an ass thing to say but I didn't think this backlash would be like this. Or any backlash for that manner
wait i didnt call anyone a slut, are we talking about the pole dancing phrase implying that?
And i totally assumed "oh ya they've seen the movie, its so common"
i figured it was understood
Wait what? I don't see where he's talking about getting a girl to do anything. Or calling her a slut.

Talking about females hitting the pole and implying men are superior because of it is demeaning to their image... You come off as a judgemental asshole, especially if that's not how you presented yourself to them to begin with.
That's fair, makes sense.
Aight, I'm deleting it. Not worth future people seeing cause I'm NOT that guy. I just thought it was a hilarious quote but out of context, ya I can see why I'm getting a lot of flack.
That is not how I took it at all. If a woman posted "We won the battle of the sexes the second men started doing kegels and penis extension," I would not be the least bit pissed. The line isn't implying that men are superior and it isn't implying that women are inferior. It's saying "women are doing pole dancing for exercise. Yay!" I don't understand how ya'll are taking it this way.

Why are all these normal ass people saying it's hilarious? Why is the only negative comment from some insane weirdo?

I understand you but i'm speaking based on the negatives reactions he got.
They obviously didn't understand the context and we still don't know what picture he put up
I've never even seen the movie or heard the quote and I thought it was amusing. But yeah, you're right that the picture would be good info.
Picture was just a photo from a shoot I did. Black and white color scheme, I had a coffee in my hand and was smiling away from the camera for like a candid effect.
A few homies caught that I was obvi joking and was even funnier because the quote didn't relate to the photo (which was totally what I was going for lol).
But since most of my fb friends couldn't see past that, I'm taking the L on this one and removing it. Which is seriously ridiculous but better than having other girls in the future see it and think I'm a judgemental ass hole.
So ya I need new friends lol
Huge double standard though that I don't even want to get into.
If a girl said that about men and penis extensions....
"You go girl!" "lol you're so funny!" "OMG yaaaasss bitch"
But I'm just sour rn lol
Yeahhhhh dude I'm not seeing a problem here. And I'm usually the one wondering why people harp on SJWs so much. Completely ludicrous man, I would have went full dickhead and started calling people out, consequences be damned. But hey, if you get more results by taking it down and you don't enjoy childish arguments like I do, you come out ahead!

That's a completely different context. That's on the actual movie's page.. of course people are going to "like" it. OP put up a "modelling" picture of himself with that as the quote. So it comes off as him being arrogant, definitely showing off, and takes something that should simply be pleasing and enticing to men, and makes a sexist mockery of it. I think it's definitely a mistep for a young stud coming up in the game. Lol
I'll put it to you like this.. I'm pretty fucking blatant sometimes, tho I don't put "crazy" stuff on my personal FB. I definitely wouldn't put that up. Lol. Jihad I'm about to put up a "beauty" pic, I'll let you know when I do and you can see how I display "arrogance" in it.
Woberdor tou might not be offended by a kegels and penis extension comment, but I bet I could craft some you might find offensive. ;)
Well it's facebook man. I live in one of the most PC country in the world and i say offensive non PC jokes all the time and i can't recall someone giving me shit for it irl. But if i did that on facebook i would expect some reactions or at least that people would think i'm a stupid asshole
I totally get what you guys are saying. The reason I used the movie quote is cause ALL over my fb and instagram my captions always revolve around cocky and funny quotes from movies
i posted one photo a month back with a coffee cup and doing a cheeky smile into the camera and the caption was "Would you like cream in your coffee? No, thank you, I take it black...like my women"
Everyone LOVED this...can you believe it? And this is racist lol. None of my african american friends said "This is disappointing" or "You're using your looks to promote racism dur dur dur". Thats why I thought I could now put something about women BUT lesson learned...pushed it too far on this one
And yes would like to see your beautiful smile MW :)))
So the lesson here is don't put up a show-offy picture of you with a quote that could be misconstrued as bragging that women are doing sexual things for you? It makes sense, but I could see myself making the same mistake.
No I don't think about the "doing things for me" part but about doing anything "slutty" in general. Or anything that could be perceived slutty.
And context is everything. Put a hot girl in the photo and if she's cool with it then it would be diifferent. Also if I was doing something goofy with other people or other girls.
I'll probably still fuck it up lol. But hey, I still learned something here.
No. If he'd simply put - Crazy, Stupid Love underneath the quote he'd have been fine. Instead he tried to make it seem like he was the crowning achievement here. PFF lol
HEY thats...
damn it man reading me like a book.
