I'm trying to get better at getting girls to invest over txt. I know calling them is one way, but I'm also trying to get them to jump through more hoops and make them qualify themselves a bit more. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I'm not sure what the difference is.

I'll explain my opinion on the difference btwn contexts, but I gotta head out. Let me know what you think and I'll get back on this.
I think in terms getting the girl to jump through hoops and qualify, where the both convos fell apart was where I went too far with it. Its seems that getting a girl to jump through hoops needs to be with really light-hearted topics, and possibly staying away from the word crazy(unless she is super hot). Also, when I push qualifying too far, I com off as too judgemental and controlling, whereas when I do it right, I come off as someone who has standards, but masked through humor.

In the second convo, I put up hoops after there had been some banter. The only time I've seen dudes make girls qualify super early is if the girl is super hot, and testy(like in some of Bateman's convos.
In summary, to make girls qualify and jump through hoops, make it playful, silly, don't do it too much and do it after a little momentum is built, to really get snowball of investment.
