List a book we should read and give a reason why
These do not have to be “game” related, they can be anything that you have found useful in your life. List the book and why other people should check it out.
The way of the superior man - Most PUA crowds seem to all worship this... for good reason. As the years go by since it was originally published i think it has become even more applicable as we continue to become pussified. Basically the play by play guide for how to be a real man (also has great insight on feminine v masculine energy)
Think and live rich - Excellent book by Napoleon Hill, who was a pioneer in the business world. The book really discusses a lot of the fabric that all sucessful people are made of and what you need to do to become that. Slightly dry, but a great read
Starting Strength - One of the most underrated books on lifting ever. So many people limit results because their form is way off or because they are constantly battling injuring due to poor form. This is one of the best basic / medium level books ever to make sure you have it down
Did you start The Fountainhead by Ayn Rand yet? It's essentially about the purifying of the ego, the honing and crafting of it into something powerful and effective to shape the world, and your life, rather than something to be feared and killed off like Eckhart Tolle preaches. It's a magnificent book, one of my favorites. It's fiction too, reads very quickly even though it's a fucking monster of a book.
Yep, I'm about 100 pages in at this point. Definitely a significant change of pace at this point from what I usually read, but I like it so far
Practicing the Power of Now by Eckhart Tolle - DUH.
7 Habits of Highly Effective People - One of the cornerstone self-development books. Never found a book like it where it vivdly depicted levels of maturity such as codependence, independece, then interdependence. Really goes deep into those levels of psyche and how to transition from one to the next. Really applies to game as well. Think codependence as your needy dude, then independence as your player guy, and finally interdependence as a true seasoned masculine leader.
Sex God Method - Also DUH
I'll just throw out Starship Troopers by Robert Heinlein. Not game related but this book along with George Carlin (audio/video but pretend it's an audiobook) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gaa9iw85tW8 were both pretty influential on me. I'm not very political and I don't vote lol but George Carlin and Starship Troopers were very important in shaping my personal beliefs on rights and privileges and entitlements (I believe there exist none). Also my related opinions on war and the military and political correctness.
Robert Heinlein's one of my favorite authors of all time
I am currently reading Jordan Peterson 12 Rules for Life: An Antidote to Chaos. I am still on the first Chapter, just started reading it today.
So far it's a great book filled with analogies and examples. I have the audio and the Epub. Jordan Peterson even narrates his own audiobook.
Yo Pop! Reading that book right now too! Ch 1 as well! Twinsies :p
Make that triplets niggas ;)
Well shit... apparently i am missing out. I actually need a new audio book as my drive to work sucks ass and i can only listen to so much XM. Ill have to get it
