Low key night. Return to high school grounds.

So let me preface this by saying that in high school, I was a loser. I wasn't a loser in the sense like I didn't get along with people -- because I got along with everyone. I was a loser in the sense that I didn't believe in myself and my actions aligned with that. So it became a self-fufilling prophecy. Plus I was a huge pussy. Lol. To think girls even liked that version of me is a mindfuck, as some were pretty hot. Anyway, I digress.

So I'm studying and shit not really expecting to go out, when my bud hits me up telling me he's going to hang out with some pretty cute girl whose number on new years. I honestly never really hit her up just because whilhe she's cute, I'm just not interested in her. Not my cup of tea. Regardless, I do need a night out as working full time + prep course + 20 hrs of studying can seriously cause you to burn out. So we're out, meet up with these chicks. I shoot the shit with them, but I'm kinda aloof. Just more so having fun talking shit with my boy and having fun schooling these chicks at ping pong at this bar. End up running into a BUNCH of people from high school as I'm back in my old neighborhood. So I run into a girl who I used to have the fattest crush on his high school. Approach her and we chop it up. We start making fun of how nerdy I was in high school and she's instantly like " Yea .... you're way different now. " I tell her what I've been up to and what not and she's instantly like " No offense but I never would've guessed you to turn out the way you did. You were always kind've the goofy kid in class. " She got caught up with her girl friends and I saw my bud who I was super close with in high school, so I chopped it up with him. Coincidentally he's like " Yo, just chill my dude. Let the girls come to you, don't chase. "

Fucking a, she comes over and apologizes for getting caught up with her conversation. We chop it up and she tells me to grab her number, which I obviously do. Nothing really special happen, it was just a normal playful vibe. Main reason I'm writing this is because it feels damn good to make plays on girls you never had a shot with in high school. Not counting my victory just yet, but it's a step in the right direction.

Ended up hanging with that girl from new years for a while after the bar closed but honestly she wasn't having it AT ALL Even if I was doing it mainly for validation. Funny how some nights a girl will just jump your bone and on other nights that very same girl won't even give you the time of day.
