Manwhore's Insomnia Track
Whatup dudes
Recently I purchased manwhore's insomnia destroyer track( the self hypnosis thing). But just to be sure that I'm using it right, I wanna ask you guys and manwhore a question pertaining to the parts where he says
"relax your feet, relax your toes, relax your thighs etc."
Now I only use the track when lying down in bed trying to sleep, so in a way my body parts are already relaxed( not tensed up or contracted at least).
So I just want to know if I'm doing this right, or is there anything else I should be doing when the track says to relax this and that part. Like is there some "deeper" level of relaxation
Anyways that's it guys, would be nice if we could have a discussion about this.
how quick do you fall asleep? i dont think i've gotten past 10 minutes yet
Well with this track I do fall asleep at the end sometimes, but most of the time I'm at a pretty sleepy state at the end( so not yet fully sleeping)
I do have sleeping problems sometimes, don't think it's insomnia or anything but sometimes it can take me up to 3 hours to fall asleep(rarely though), most of the time I fall asleep within 1 hour or so.
Ok thanks for posting this the answer is YES there are deeper levels of relaxation. Your entire body, obviously the "relax your feet, relax your toes, relax your thighs." continues to encompass the whole of it. But yes you should feel a level of relaxation that borders on paralysis. Some on here have described it as drowning, which yes seems a bit strong of a metaphor (lol) but it fits the general idea. What's actually happening Brrr is you apparently aren't aware of higher levels of relaxation, which is common, I just assumed a lot of guys would be introduced to something new with this audio ;)
Ok i finished the whole track for the first time after taking a nap, and yeah i could definitely feel the "deeper relaxation", but i suppose it will get more intense the more i do this?

dude, one hour, much less THREE is a really long time to actively be trying to fall asleep. You should be knocking out much faster than that, I hope the audiobooks help.

Yes start to explore the feelings and deepen them. As well as mental relaxation
Cool man, I just used this new track yesterday for the first time and it definitely knocked me out at the end. So hopefully This will keep up.
So manwhore, would I feel deeper levels of relaxation as I use this track more and more or is there anything else I could do to deepen the effects of it.
cuz as of now I dont feel any of the "paralysis"-like feeling that u described. Seems like I fall asleep before I even get to feel that
Ok yes. So basically this audio is teaching you to "go into your body". It's teaching you much more focused body awareness. Let your consciousness follow along with the audio into each part of your body and relax it. Imagine it sinking, feel it sinking, feel it becoming more loose. How old are you Brrr?
hey was just about to pop in the audio, I'm 21 man
Yeah you're young as fuck, that's why. You don't have the sensitivity yet, but you'll get it.
Yeah could be something like that. I just finished the audio but I'm still awake now and posting on this forum lol, any idea how long it will take before I actuallu get to feel the relaxation?
but u know whats crazy though, i literally just found out about this ASMR thing a few days ago, have u ever heard of it? Somehow I thought the inspmnia track was gonna be like that
like this is some MAGIC PILL SHIT YO. The feeling u get when watching a vid with headphones I could onlu describe as "very pleasant" and I guess relaxing.
It literally makes you feel that way in a matter of seconds for as long as ur watching/listening. Only downside I guess is that the effect wears off shortly after u close the vid.

What does age have to do with it MW? Prefrontal Cortex not fully developed?
Nope just experience. There are some cultures/societies that raise their kids with more body awareness, but definitely not America or even most European countries.

The point of the audio is you're supposed to learn how to control your mind and body yourself, not try to find some "magic pill" that puts you under a spell. That sounds like some 21 yr old pussy ass boy shit.
Hmm yeah i also thought that i probably dont have enough mind control the first time i tried it because i couldnt really let myself "sink in", but it seems like you develop this thing the more you listen to it. Last time my mind was in a kind of "trance" and my arms felt really heavy.
Lol i found an orgasm hypnosis on youtube, it was a pretty cool experience. Not sure if its good for anything though.

lol aight man gotcha
Any idea how long it might take tho if I use this track everyday for me to develop at least some decent control over this whole relaxation?
I'd say probably around five sessions you start developing much better focus and control. It's really cool ;)
You tried out the new version yet?
Yeah I've been using the new version for 2 nights now, so tonight will be the third. I am only using the new version though, deleted the other one
I do notice that I tend to lose track of the instructions after a while, while listening to the track and I almost start to rush to make up for the lost time. Hopefully this will get better
Ok right, no rushing just settle back into it and focus in the moment on what's happening right now in the track. So you like it that much more than the first, huh? That's kinda what I figured.. once I got my hands on this 2nd one I was like.. hot damn.
Man im having the same issues as brrr now. It was working for me the past week but yesterday and today i just coulndt seem to completely relax and then i start to try to force it and it just becomes counter productive.
I got some very bad new yesterday so that might be a reason.
Yes the bad news would affect you certainly, but learning to "force it" is also part of the skill set. Go into each body area/part as the track does and concentrate on relaxing it.
Do you guys force yourself to sleep on your back? I've always been all over the place depending on what feels good.
Sleeping on your back is alpha, bro.
