If you have not read The Education of Millionaires by Michael Ellsberg, do it! It is a fantastic book on how sales and marketing are important skills that people usually not learn in university but which should be mandatory for everyone to learn. I attached a pdf summary of all the chapters in the link at the bottom.

- dont ask high value individuals for money or business right from the start of the conversation
- rapport is important be present with the person who you are interacting with
- at around 17 minutes in he goes and breaks down the process 1. phase is chit-chat normal talk eg. interview mode 2. phase is inquiry, ask the people what they are up to, what they might need in their life and how you migth help them 3. phase pro-actively add value through giving out your own insights on the topic or connect people with people who you know and may be of value for others

Yeah it was a good read. I skipped the first couple chapters but after that every time I read a section I had something new to implement into what I had going on with my online stuff.
