The Montessori Program.. amazing way to go about educating kiddies
My buddy went through it as a kid.. said it turned him into a completely self-reliant, self-learning bad ass. Now that he's making "fuck you" money, it makes sense. Our current education/parenting paradigm breeds procrastinators. Not these kids..

There is a Montessori school the town over from me, however, I believe it's only grades 4-8
I totally agree that it seems to be better system of learning, personally most of my teachers actually give me tons of freedom on projects and papers but when I do get strict outlined projects it normally does suck and leads to sub-par work.
