MW, thoughts on cold facebook game?

I have been experimenting with sending messages to friends of girls that are in my facebook. The first message is what is tough because it kinda comes out of nowhere for the reason and they tend to test me quite a bit. Most of the 8s 9s won't reply and I have been able to get a few #s from 7s 6s
So far I used 2 messages, 1 a bit chody and 1 less chody
"Hi X, I know this is going to come out of nowhere but poking or 'hi baby' nobody deserves. Anyway, you seem interesting and I got curious about you"
"Hi, facebook suggested you as a potential addition to my friends, was that a good suggestion or excellent suggestion? My name is X"
(this is translated from portuguese so if it sounds a bit weird its because of the translation)
Then I instachat with them and go for the number after I get a few laughs
The better looking girls usually don't bite these genuine introductions and usually need to be teasted a bit more at the start, at least that's my belief about it.
Do you have any thoughts on this?
