Yo three weeks ago my

Yo three weeks ago my Chargers had less than 1% chance of making it to the playoffs.. they needed FIVE different scenarios to go down to make it, and they ALL HAPPENED. Fucking crazy

Go Chargers

I never liked the Broncos till Peyton showed up. What a dude. I was quite aggravated with the Colts when they gave him up I was like.. ok this is the shitty side of the NFL showing itself, AND homeboy ain't done yet, so you're just being plain dumb. Sure enough he's raping the league. And his baby bro is back to middle child blues lol

Dude, Phillip Rivers must

Dude, Phillip Rivers must have a horse shoe shoved so far up his ass he's not gonna be shitting for MONTHS

Less than 1% chance to get in 5 weeks ago AND did you see the end of last weeks game. That is the definition of luck. I'm glad you guys got in though.

I hope the Broncos win the superbowl. Fuck the seahawks. The only teams I would want to win from the NFC would be the eagles or the packers, and thats about as likely as the chargers making it past the 1st round of the playoffs LOL.

Just kidding. Not really. I hope they win it for you though if the Broncos blow it somehow.

And yeah, Payton Manning is the best QB to ever touch a football. Fuck al those people trying to take his record away.

The fake punt kick was genius

The fake punt kick was genius can't take that away. Chargers could win it. If we just found a few more puppies to sacrifice I think their luck could hold out

If you know anything about the chargers you know they're one of those teams that can and has beat ANY team when they're playing well. Rivers is an elite qb, we always have the best kickers in the league, and we've had a lot of the elite players over the years.. Lt, gates,.. Ok can't really remember anyone else but they're there

That was a NASTY game. That chargers d-line was just demolishing andy dalton. Every. Single. Play.

If you guys beat the Broncos again, you better go all the way. Speaking of which, I wonder if they sell weed at the Broncos stadium now.

Ha MW didnt know you were

Ha MW didnt know you were such a chargers fan.   Elites?  Don't forget michael turner in there.  The combo of him and LT was lethal.  Vincent Jackson is an Elite WR, dude puts up as many 100 yard.   recieving games as possible.   But what I feel about the chargers right now is that Rivers is just a leader.   I love Rivers.   He will rip the opponents heart out to win then go to church with him the next morning.  The guy NEVER cusses but is probably the most intense guy in the league.  Yes he has fumbled snaps to cost us the playoffs but the chargers would be lost without him right now.  Rivers IS the chargers idenitity.   I mean sometimes they just come out and play like they know they are just going to hit the beach the next day.   Its kinda sad.  But then Rivers gets fucking pissed and the whole team riles up...just unfortunate we have not had a good coach since shottenheimer.  MW why the heck you living in vegas?  SD is not even comparable...

Yeah Rivers is the identity

Yeah Rivers is the identity of the team. And yes I didn't want to believe it, but I slowly came to realize that Norv just wasn't aggressive enough as a closer. He wasn't a WINNER. He's the planner type, he can see around things, but he can't drive a team to win. It's why he was such a great offensive coordinator, but couldn't quite make it as head coach. I'll tell you what though, I think he was the one responsible for Rivers maturing as a player and a leader.

Damn, I didn't really pat

Damn, I didn't really pat much attention to the chargers until they made that run to squeek into the playoffs- I was rooting for them all the way, man. Pretty fun to see that shit happen.

Are they doin much in the off-season to make that switch to becoming more of a superbowl contendor?

I like Rivers a lot, I think he's grown into an extremely good QB, and was probably a big part of their run. But I don't think he's good enough to support the team on the level that brady or manning does (i.e: even without a top5 defense, they can make the championship game and even the superbowl). The issue is that the power of defense is becoming more evident. Every major "powerhouse offense" in the league has been rushing to fix their defensive situation, cause they realized that the defenses out west are just fuckin dirty as hell - I mean the hawks literally made a joke of the "best offense ever"..

Rivers is bomb though, for sure. I wish the Niners had him. Kap is good and has some of the best killer instincts out of any QB in the nfl (makes HUGELY clutch plays), but he just isn't at the overall level of a guy like Rivers, yet. I just think you guys are at a point where there needs to be a "team" around him- like they've found their guy, now gotta give him some weapons and ramp up the defense.

What's really intersting to see is how the identity of the team has shifted, since LT left. In a way, maybe LT leaving kind of opened things up for Rivers to step up, and he just did what was natural and filled that void. Which isn't easy to do. So serious kudos to him.

Gawd damnit, I love the NFL

Your reply is about six years

Your reply is about six years too late. They've been an amazing team for a long time just couldn't seem to get their shit together and win games

The chargers have been lackluster for the past six years. Can't really talk shit though, since the broncos choked so hard in the Super Bowl. Still smh

Right, what I'm saying is

Right, what I'm saying is that the TEAM has been there for years. They've had magnificent players. Sproles, Jackson, LT, Rivers, Floyd, Jammer, Gates, and a couple others I can't think of right now. They HAD the players, they had the plays, they just didn't have the will and leadership to win. #closermentality #killerinstinct #IspendtoomuchtimeonFacebook

Yup.  I actually had no clue

Yup.

I actually had no clue what you were talking about at first. Was like wtf- chargers have def. not been amazing for 6 years lol..

But I thought about it and was like, it actually makes perfect sense that Manwhore would say that... it's the same raeson he's a personal development coach//mentor- he can't help but see the potential.

Niners were the same way- I'd tell anyone and everyone how good they were when they were one of the worst teams, record-wise, in the league. Then suddenly they got a different coach (all the players remained the same) and bam they started winning
