Nine Ball

Damn, i'm nearly halfway thru this book which i've leafed through in one sitting and 'game'...hasn't really changed much. What Jeffy gets up to in the book is kinda the solid stuff you want to inject in your interactions: own reality, challenging, escalation, rapport, etc. not to mention this whole new wave Julienesque 'vulnerability' thing which Jeffy and most of the old community have been doing forever. Look at this excerpt:
"This is too easy. I run "Incredible Connection." I deliver it
all hesitantly, as though I am "trying to work out my feelings" or some
shit. Lately, I 've been playing with tactics that fake the characteristics of
a chode to bring my value back down if I sense I ' m coming off too
smooth. Too fucking funny. It goes down perfectly"
Anyway, apart from all the outer game tactics and shit he briefly talks about, which ARE pretty cool, the book is really addictive to read; it's up there with Russell Brand and Anthony Kiedis' autobiographies, except i guess Jeffy's pilgrimage appeals to us aspiring puahs more lol
Any thoughts from guys who have read this book? I don't think it's bad at all to revisit some of the old techniques guys used back in the day, like at one stage Tyler gives Jeff a mini-bootcamp and his analysis is razor sharp and interesting.

Re: Nine Ball
I've never been able to read it it's a minor RSD inside joke that every time I pick up 9ball I fall asleep. I was at Tyler's house a couple years back with the manuscript before it was published and the parts I flipped to were so negative I just shut down and passed out instead of reading. Will maybe pick it back up again I got 2 or 3 copies of it lol

@Manwhore:
LOL
The first few chapters are kinda harrowing, but quick to peel through - i can imagine that it would feel weird reading something so personal about one of my friends, like he is of yours MW, maybe that's why you couldn't get thru the negative shit? Dunno, just a hunch.
Other than that Jeffy's one hell of a writer and is funny as fuck so it's more than enough to keep me entertained yet disturbed at the same time lol
