First post...been having some problems with texting lately although don't know what I'm necessarily messing up if anything..the chick below has previously responded to other texts as well but won't go for the meet up...
Me: Hey punk ;) Bet my weekend beats up your weekend :p
Her: Hey you! I bet it does I'm stuck working :( what're you doing that's so fun
Me: Being awesome lol...I forgot how great it is to have weekends off
Her: Haha don't rub it in! Not fair!
Me: Indulging in mimosas, bloody mary's and even ice cream, yum! Don't be jealous :)
Her: Oh stop! Your lucky I only like mimosas ;) I'm going to need a big drink after work tonight
Me: I'm going out with a couple buddies tonight...you should come along...we can pregame with mimosas if you promise to behave ;)

Just hit her up tomorrow with a reengagement text tomorrow. Don't hit her up to hang out again until you and her have gone back and forth a couple times.

He meant actually get her invested some more before pulling the trigger, like how you did in the 1st post.

Well in this case he had it right. He actually had more compliance for the girl, and interest, then we realized. She agreed to meet up the next day that says a lot. What you needed to do at this point was be more flexible and figure out what worked for both of you guys before you settled down. Also, you cut it too short (the date planning) and put the ball in her court WAY too fast, e.g. "let me know if that works". She can't make a decision like that you have to lead it and plan it a bit better.
