So here is the thing.

We are both in the same class. We were sitting together last semester in tests and all but different classes. Didn't really care for much back then. But now I actually like her . So I have been talking to her a couple of times since the new sem began. Which I didn't used to do. General chitchat nothing to write about. Although I did feel that I was trying too hard to converse. Earlier we used to exchange pleasantries and all that but now that has stopped from for about two days from her side although still responds positively when I say hi or something.

She does have a chode constantly hanging around with her but the guy (I have met him ) is so lame that I really doubt if he is of any significance.

This thing where she is quite polite but standoffish almost delibrate ignorance of me when not engaged is perplexing. Should I go direct or take it slow.

What's your level of charisma with her? You don't sound much different then the other chode she's got hanging around? You attract a girl with your general level of excitement and charisma. You change her mood not her mind about you. Understand?

Ok then how would I go about developing charisma. Because it sounds broad.

@ferguson:
Being able to tell engrossing stories with a broad range of vocal tonality and richness, strong body language you use to portray certain aspects of your story. Being able to think on the spot and find the funny side of things. Improv classes and public speaking classes would be good for this. As well as singing lessons to broaden your voice. Finding ways of being able to practice interacting with other people in a strong influential way.
