Pretty cool accomplishment

Earlier today, I closed an account I had been working on for 4 months. It was an account in which I actually did have to build a relationship but it paid off with HUGE dividends and in order to close them I actually had to steal them from one of our main competitors who also happens to be the biggest player in new york in our industry.
Anyway- I'm pretty stoked on this because of all the work I put in and because:
This client is the SINGLE LARGEST client our entire company (both in San Francisco and in New York) has ever landed and it was entirely because of the effort I put in. This account KEPT giving me LMR after LMR after LMR and I just didn't react and played it cool and had patience and then FINALLY today when I was on the phone with them, they agreed to finalize the contract and switch over to us.
Everyone except our founder was in the office and when they finally said "Yes" I literally started jumping up and down and fist pumping the air and everyone knew exactly what went down and two of the other people in the office came over and and gave me a hug while I was on the phone, it was fucking sick.
So yeah, I just landed our companies single biggest client- finally got my stunner. This will also give me massive room to negotiate a raise as I'll be bringing in an absolutely ABSURD amount of revenue into the company and my rent will be paid off which will be nice to have done.
This was really cool. To see 3-4 months of work pay off like this is awesome and then on top of that to not only be the 2nd youngest person at the company but to be the only member of the sales team, both in New York and in California, to not have gone to business school (let alone having just graduated undergrad less than a year ago) and to have landed our biggest client ever... yeah.... feels good.

Yeah, shit is startin to blow
Yeah, shit is startin to blow up out here.
It's like water pounding against a wall and eventually it breaks through after enough time... that's all it takes is applied pressure over time and eventually shit starts to roll.
Also super sick cause I asked my boss for an expense budget so I can take clients to basketball games, broadway plays etc.. and he agreed and is going to give me 1,000 dollars a month to take clients and potential clients out- SO sick

Expense account time! Make
Expense account time! Make sure he knows about the big "Manwhore" account you're trying to close. Subtly insinuate you're referring to leonardo dicaprio or something
