I actually do all these things when I'm working out. Especially when I was trying to get my 10k pace below 45 mins. I'd pick an object about 500m ahead of me as a target distance and either keep my pace or run faster.
Would be interesting to apply to it pickup and other day to day activities. Do you think it would work well for actions that are more mental, rather than physical?

If it's any help, my coaching follows the same principles exactly. So yes, either/or.
