questions on nightlife in nyc, boston, and d.c.
I might move to one of these three cities and i wanted to know how people home from these cities after a night out.
Obviously taxi, car, and public transportation, and walking are the options.
Are rent prices affordable when you're a stumble away from the hot spots in each city?
Taxi prices?
Ideally id like to live a mi away from nightlife. Far enough to not hear the party, close enough to taxi / stumble home.
NYC is expensive but if you want to life in queens or Brooklyn its about 2 grand a month for rent one bedroom...lots of access to the subway though!
I lived in a 5k a month apartment in the financial district a couple years back. Company apartment
I think it might depend on what you're used to?? NYC is cramped dude. I couldn't get used to it. I like my space. But the nightlife is stellar. But there's other places the nightlife is stellar too. NYC is great for daygame, nightgame it's got serious competition.. but yes for daygame it's probably 2nd to none.
I'm a city kid from LA, but I enjoy being around a lot of people. The choice ultimately depends on which law school(s) accept me. ( Targeting BU, BC, Fordham, GWU if you were wondering )
NYC would be awesome. Boston doesn't seem like it's as fun of a town as NYC. Not that I'd be going out a lot - but I would like the option to be there when I want to cut loose ~1 night per week. I hate hitting up spots where it just isn't cracking lol. Is 2k really the cheapest affordable apartment? I don't care if I only have like 400 sq ft, that' smore than enough for me. I'd say NYC > Boston > D.C. in order of where I'd prefer to live if I had a choice.
Well yea, nightgame LV > All. LV, LA, NYC, CHI, & Miami all have mave hot chicks.
I'd switch Boston and D.C. Buddhagames lives in D.C. you'd obviously have a stellar wing right there. A stellar wing can/will make all the difference in the world
Yea, that would be awesome to have someone like BG to kick it with. I know he puts in mad work, and just overall sounds like a chill dude. But, my close bud from back in the day goes to BU law and lives in Boston, so I'd still probably choose Boston > D.C.
A stellar wing does make a huge difference tho, and makes the sound of making a move to D.C. more appealing for sure.
pm me if you want info on a couple of those cities.
and yeah, holy shit, the daygame in ny is unreal. flat-out unreall
