I was just thinking how beneficial it would be to have a thread dedicated to helpful texts out there, because there is simply just too much to choose from. Feel free to recommend a quality book and give a brief description. I'll start!
I recently encountered a book called "Conversations With God" by Neale Donald Walsch. It's main concepts resemble Tolle's work (for those familiar), but seems to be a bit more user friendly. This book will remind you that god is everywhere, god is within you, and you have the power to do god's work. You have the power to create your reality, your thoughts and actions just have to be calibrated accordingly.Walsch discusses following your "highest thought" throughout life, the thought from the devine, not the society around you. Most profoundly, he discusses dysfunctional relationships. He outlines the number one reason why relationships fail, that being putting the relationship before the individual growth of the people within it. Let me remind you that this book is supposed to be as if it is a conversation with god, the author asks questions, and his answers are written from pure "godly" inspiration. God is even pretty comical at time! Highly suggested!
