Recently watched "A Beautiful Mind", and did some research on the disorder. It is definitely an interesting disorder, it has actually helped me understand inner game bit more.

Like Schizophreniacs we all fall into irrational thinking patterns from time to time, we create complete illusions within our minds that just aren't true. Schizophrenia encounter extreme social anxiety and ego-based thinking, they are the complete opposite of "centered". Instead of controlling their reality, as we strive to do, their fears control them. We've all had fears control us to, they just aren't as prevalent and real. When a schizophreniac hullicinates, their mental chatter is literally illustrated within their reality. For example, that approach anxiety we all feel from time to time, could appear as an actual person or voice that follows the victim throughout their lives telling them that their worthless or hated.

Of course Schizophrenia has a large spectrum. Some people have recovered from it. As you guys would guess common treatment would be meditation to become centered within their reality. Medication as well, but I'm clueless how that works. I watched some interviews with victims, a common theme i've found is that they never really lose their hullicinations/delusions they just learn to blow past them and stop acknowledging them. This clicked with me. It's the same game for fears and doubts of a normal person. Personally, I find that social anxiety and what not can always be felt, it just depends on how you deal with it. As you become more centered, you stop seeing all the bullshit as "real". You start to just laugh at it. Schizo's do the same, they overcome their hullicinations by laughing at them and acknowledging their immaturity. wether your fears are just fears or are right in front of your eyes, they are nothing once you become aware that they don't work within your reality.

cool stuff bros :)

Yes it's interesting to read

Yes it's interesting to read about the fucked up end of the spectrum, but what's REALLY missing, is the other side. What a person can become capable of once they get their shit really together mentally.

well of course...I feel that people must understand the dysfunctional mind before they can learn it's true power.  The whole knowing "what's not" before knowing "what is".
