For a guy like you who got a lot of experiences, you know by now what you like and don't in womens. You probably have your panel of choice

and thus you know what you looking for. So when you step to a women, the way you come across is proactively tweak to screen her.

My question is what is the process for a "beginner", I mean a guy who do not have this bank of experiences.

I think that mentality should come naturally as you get better. You seem to try forcing it in order to get the girl, and therefore still placing her on a pedastal. And overcomplicating things.
