Self-Hypnosis Drills For Sleeping & Mental Conditioning.. this is for ALL of you
Here's the finished product, introducing: MW's "Insomnia Destroyer" Binaural Beats!
This will represent a drastic step for any of you that have never experienced "presence" or "active mindfulness". It is a big step in the process of self-actualization. Some of you may even remember this as Day 0, it's a big leap in quality of life for a few different reasons. The first thing you'll notice is the huge improvement in the quality of your sleep. You'll conk out like a motherfucker and wake up feeling a lot more rested than you usually do. The next thing you'll realize is you have a lot more awareness of your body, and can physiologically control it better. These exercises put you much more in touch with yourself. The meditations themselves obviously have a lot of positive effects.
These are the personal meditations/self-hypnosis exercises I use myself. I wanted to record a high-production value version for you guys, with binaural beats, but after two years of hassle I realized I just had to get these out to you guys. Record yourself reading them out loud. Do your best to smoothen out your voice, soften consonants and taper your s's. At night put on your headphones and listen to your recording. You are programming yourself as you drift off. Rerecord it as many times as you want to if you feel you can improve your delivery. This will also have the added benefit of improving your phone game, sexual state transferrance, and ability to comfort-talk a girl out of her panties.
Now let's begin.
Yo!
Something weird I've noticed when I practice this self hypnosis is that I get an uncomfortable build up of pressure in my neck. I'm guessing its some sort of energy blockage and it's getting broken down by my vocal drills.
Hm yeah you probably hold a lot of tension in your neck and you are still working on relaxing thru it. You get to a point to where your breathing seems to be rocking your entire body. Like it's a movement that makes your body ripple back and forth. If you're holding tension in any part of your body this oscillation won't pass thru it and yes you'll probably experience discomfort like that.
By the way some of the language is a bit nuanced, really just a couple words here 'n there.. but if you want to change the way something's phrased or said, go for it. I've added a couple things myself, and obviously the guy describes breathing incorrectly lol.
Honestly, I would love to hear this with MW's voice. I think that would be awesome. IDK I feel like it would be wierd listening to my own voice.
Yo it's awesome you're posting this up for free, I'll definitely try this out.
Anyone looking for inspiration on how to have a really smooth, soothing voice just listen to this guy:
Yeah he's got a perfect voice for it lol.
Yeah Timothy Leary was always experimenting and tripping out lol. It would make sense he'd have a hypnotic voice. His pacing and rhythm are perfect.
Okay, so this is meant to all be recorded, in order (or roughly in order), and be experienced as a single journey.
I know you mention to record it over some binarual beats.... I have a LOT of different styles of binarual beats, so I didn't know if there were any particular ones that work well for this sort of thing
I've recorded it over the sounds of dolphins fucking in the ocean, the "typical" helicopter whirring, and just straight vocals no sounds. They all work
wow, And there I thought this whole affirmation, self-hypnosis stuff was more or less a hoax. So this is a bit of a surprise.
but cool
will definitely give this a try, but I have no experience with self-hypnosis so far what so ever, so I have a couple questions.
Do you do this instead of basic mindfulness meditations? I guess its more of add on, no?
This begins by sitting on a chair, but since there is no waking up and you hint at it making us conck out like hell, it seems more appropriate to be in bed no?
the numbering is a bit weird, but it take this to be meant as one sessision that is compartialized for recording purposes?

Yeah all those nigga.
Try it a few times and see what happens. Telling you about it beforehand is sorta like "last place". These will help you in every way possible, training you how to relax your body, relax your mind, it's basically teaching yourself your own ability to mentally condition yourself. Sort of like the nuclear glue that holds a bunch of other shit together. Yes lie down for it

ahh, cool, thx man, will let you know :D
Manwhore, this is based on "psychocybernetics" isn't it?
I was thinking it's probably a good thing to record one's own voice, (rather than a recording of someone else's). Mainly because you're more invested and your own voice may reinforce the self-image programming...
Even better, record it with the same vocal nuances as someone you think has a really sexy voice, so your brain starts to take on those speech patterns?

Sure but psychocybernetics is just another literary foray into into the whole field. The map ain't the territory, nigga.

Yes. It also teaches you hypnotic pacing and rhythm. You are your own test subject.

This most of the time wouldn't work out the way you thought it would.

Oops I made a poopoo
Hey Mang,
just wanted to let you know that I tried this stuff and it did put me in quite a deep trance. haha, man I tell ya. Pretty cool.
Now I'm going to record new and polished version of this. Basically I'll have to take myself even more time. Especially the parts that give instructions need to be paced slow enough to allow to comply fully. 'first' take was already 30 mins. So it'll end up around 40-45 minutes of lengh I guess. My voice quali also differs but I'm slowly getting the hang of. Its actually pretty amazing how much that trance enhances perception of even minor flaws.
Also slightly irritatating at times. ha!
One thing however that I wondered about was the end. As there was no real end.. Probably because we are meant to be allready sleeping? Anyway so I was lying there, with my headphones still on, arms super heavy, mega relaxed and not really able nor wanting to move. But at same time felt like left hanging not really sleeping not really awake.. weird, Maybe because I don't like having my headphones on in bed. Don't know.
Anyway I figured so this needs a proper ending. And I made a little one.
ALso arranged some minor shit. breathing pattern in A. Arranged 1f again, and changed some of the words to something more aligned with my natural speaking flow.
Also I added some more suggestions to the last parts.
Put it a PDF for reading convenience. I highlighted the bigger changes and addons in yellow.
If the changes are is cool, feel free to use it. If anything is dumb or dangerous, pleeeeaase let me know, before I self-hypnose myself into the sanatorium. lol naah, I won't.
Also I'm really curious what other kind of stuff you guys think practically to suggest to yourself. For me the whole I'm enough thing, is something I really want to integrate way more, so thats why I put some emphasis on it.
II don't how far this stuff goes, but apllicability seems pretty endless.
Do you use it for instance to for spefic kinds of situation where you want to spark a very specific kind of behaviorial change? It seems a little tricky insofar as doesn't want to make oneself a drone, so guess choice of words would be crucial here. hmm
Any recommended reading here? Principle stuff?
I hope I have a really good recording ready sometime next week. For you guys to critique, and or if your are to lazy to do for yourself. Though you should, its fun!
Fuck, can't upload pdf. text then: just the parts where I changed something impacting the sense.
Self Hypnosis MW
That's fine. Now just lie down on your bed and relax. Close your eyes and take a nice deep breath - all the way to the bottom of your lungs and then exhale completely. Let it all out. Do it again now. Just relax, take a deep breath and let it all out. One more time, and this time hold your breath when you have filled your lungs with clean, refreshing and relaxing air. Hold it in. Keep your eyes closed. Now let your breath out slowly and feel yourself relaxing all over
1F
Focus your attention now on the very tip of your nose, just as you have practiced in your meditations. Feel the gentle touch of your breath passing the tip of you nose. Keep your attention gently focused on the tip of your nose until you reach a point where your entire attention is on your nose. And when you reach that point, you can forget about your nose and just go on listening to my voice and allowing yourself to relax more and more deeply. And as you keep your attention focused very gently on the sound of my voice I am going to take you down through four progressively deeper levels of relaxation.
V-2
While you are standing in the light in your room, I want you to build an image. An image of yourself as you really want to be. Not as someone else wants you to be, but as you really want yourself to be. See your image standing in front of you in the light. Your image is trim, healthy, handsome, calm and free, wearing clothes that fit to your image and masculine physique. This is you. This is the real you. Strong, decisive and accepting, endearing and forgiving. This is the man you are now becoming. Walk closer to your image now. Walk closer. Now walk into the image. Let it blend into your very body. Your own best self-a living part of you now. Stronger every day. Feel how it is to be your best self from now on. Feel your unhesitating decisiveness and your calm focused strength oozing from every pore of your being.
Feel the unwavering security of knowing with every cell of your body that your are truly loved, that you are indeed enough. Feel the liberating energy flowing through your body and your mind as you realize that you are everyone’s equal and everyone is yours.
Y
You will continue to practice your self-hypnosis exercise faithfully as often as you can every single day. And each time you go through your little routine in self-hypnosis you will relax completely. And very, very swiftly. Within just a few seconds you will go just as deep as you are now. Even deeper. And whatever suggestions you give to yourself will be stronger and deeper all the time. For you are in control now. Whatever you choose to do, you can do. however you set your mind to achieve, you can and will achieve. You will be completely successful, and you will enjoy your success. And you will enjoy becoming more and more attractive every day. You will enjoy feeling beautiful and loved, and becoming more and more your real self every day.
In a few seconds I will ask you to take off your headphones, gently and without disrupting your deep and peaceful relaxation. When you have taken off your headphones you will sink back into the warm linen of your bed. And you will feel yourself slowly falling asleep. A sleep so deep, so peaceful and restful, worryllessly bathing in the deep feeling of being enough. You have done your deeds for today. In the morning, when you wake up, you will feel so rested. More rested than ever, ready and alert to start the new day full on as your very best self. Now – take off your headphones and – sleeeeeep.
Awesome! Yeah I changed certain things as well. Added some breathing stuff as well as arm relaxation. I'll take a look at your edits in a sec. I actually thought I had a proper ending?? If I didn't that's my mistake I'll take a look at that as well.
Dude this shit is so fucking awesome lol! I've read through it and can see how absolutely powerful it would be. I was going back into the tolle drill the past couple weeks but I think I"m ready to start this hynosis. Is there anything wrong with doing it in the morning or afternoon? Or is it best to do right before going to bed?
No you can do it whenever, I just happen to mix it up with bedtime 'cuz it puts you in such a powerful trance you might as well sleep afterwards lol.
Oh yeah I don't have the ending in there. Lol that's fucked up. Um I wouldn't recommend taking the headphones off. I usually just pass out with them on.
I actually like the current set up. You can adjust your vocals to make it seem more endling like.
this sounds great. looks like it takes around half an hour. is that about right?
yeah relaxing the body is everything however you do it. this seems like a really great method
Allright, cool,
I'll try one with and without the headphones ending. will see.
@Kdawg: yo its about to 30-40 minutes
This thing is awesome. My vocals are not even that great, but I pass the fuck out in the middle of it and I wake up feeling really good and ready to rock and roll and make shit happen. It's about 40 minutes long, and I also mix the vocals over that binural beats app that potted flowers posted up here a couple weeks ago and it's working awesome for me. Thanks for this John, would never have tried it without your recomendation, initially thought hypnosis/self hypnosis was complete bullshit.
^ Yeah what's amazing is the quality of sleep you get. Most of us have SO MUCH tension in our bodies, when we take the time to properly relax ourselves down to catotonic levels the result is AMAZING sleep. ItsMario I need a damn review from you. Come on!! >:o!!
I did this the other night after my first massage in a couple of months. It was definitely the deepest sleep I've had in recent history lol.
i want to do this thingy! what will i notice?
i want to do this thingy! what will i notice?
You'll notice yourself wanting to take your pants off at roller derby more and more
HAHA! I can't stop laughing right now.
Just finished mine last night! I borrowed a friend's recording equipment (condenser mic and USB interface) and recorded it really high quality. That KNOCKED ME the heyl out! I was so relaxed, It felt like I was paralyzed. It took a ton of effort to roll onto my side and pass out.
I didn't realize how much stress I build up during the day, that keeps me from falling asleep.
allright, gents,
so I finally managed to do a half way decent recording. And uploaded it here on Vocaroo for you. http://vocaroo.com/i/s18CUPjoYIMe
check it out. It works, but if you laugh about my accent it will make your dick fall off ;)
To be honest, it is still far far from optimal. I feel it's bit overproduced sound wise, which is because I'm an amateur with sound engineering and probably overdid it a bit.
Main issue however is consistency in voice intensity and changes in tonality, well, more practice. There is even a small part where I lisp, dafuq lol?!?
But I'd be really curious about you thoughts. Is there any part that really sticks out for good or worse? Any voice part where you'd say that would be the best tone, manner of speaking for the whole endeavour?
Basically just hit me with anything that comes to your. I'd appreciate it.
BTW. I almost enjoy the process of recording more, then actually listening to it.
Dunno why. I don't get like knock out comatose or anything. I feel super relaxed, I'd say I'm pretty far away from the world, but it's not putting me directly to sleep. Maybe because I don't usually sleep on my back. But rather roll around until I found a comfortable position.
You guys, who even start to sleep in the middle of the session, do you also fall asleep reading or watching a film or so? Because I never do. hmm.
There is furthermore something slightly uncorfortable to me about the whole experience. Despite being relaxed. Dunno what it is exactly. its being prison-relaxed. I'm really relaxed but my mind is forced to stay in this small room defined by my own recorded voice coming from the outside and thereby also paralysing my body, or holding it in place. Does that make sense to anyone?
Maybe I don't like to be hypnosed. Maybe I approach it the wrong way. Maybe its the recording. Maybe I just need to give it more tries. Will certainly do the latter. But yeah hit me back with thoughts.
peace
Chris
What was your family life like growing up? I'm only being 10% facetious. Do you have major issues with teachers or being taught something or any form of authority?
Infinity do you roll to your side because you have a hard time breathing on your back?

very interesting question. sure gets my head turning..
Just a quick shot here:
I had great relationship with my family. Very liberal parents. Me and my bro were treated like small adults from a young age on. Meaning our opinions were always valued and taken as important, even if didn't have any effect on final family decisions. lol expression was encouraged and valued, but not in a way that we could boss our parents around.
But I did have my issues with authority, as soon as I regarded whatever was taught to be irrelecant to me. Makes me wonder, if I have it still. Probably.
Authority must be earned in my eyes. Otherwise I won't accept it. No problems with cops or so.
Don't think I ever had problems with teachers I chose myself.
But I would have usually described my relationship to authority as .. hm. healthy :D
So you suspect I can't accept my own authority over myself in hypnosis?
Yeah there's some slight resistance there. Sounds like it's just healthy hesitation your parents raised you correctly lol. You might want to try it out in your native language I have all my non-native English speaking guys do their drills in their first language then English.

haha, good thing, was getting seriously pissed at my mom for a bit.. jk
Cool, yeah makes sense. thx for answering. will give it a couple of more tries, and will also get a german version going.
Infinity do you roll to your side because you have a hard time breathing on your back?
I always end up on my side before I pass out, it's more relaxing on my neck. I get a ton of tension in my neck when i'm on my back it just feels too vulnerable, I hate having people touch my neck as well. I'm thinking it might be something that I need to face and force into relaxation though.
Yep. Got to trace that back that's definitely an intimacy issue.
Infinity do you roll to your side because you have a hard time breathing on your back?
It's definitely not because I have trouble breathing. It's how I've always slept since I was a kid. I've tried (not very hard tho) to train myself to sleep on my back, but always end up rolling right over. I don't think I have trouble being touched on the neck like Meow, but I've had girls kissing me there and it's a really ticklish spot lol
Interesting. I just find it's way easier to keep the body relaxed when you're on your back
When I used to learn about lucid dreaming I read that rolling over is a signal to the body that your mind is asleep/unconcious, so the body can send you into sleep paralysis without you freaking out lol. It's pretty easy to overcome though, I prefer to resist the urge and stay on my back now
Hm interesting I didn't know that. Source?
Read it on a few websites, I can't pull up a study that proves it's true (as nobody has properly researched this) but it seems valid from my experimenting with dreaming

Makes sense in my experience, I've never had sleep paralysis on my side and I always remember waking up from lucid dreams on my back.
Bump! If you fuckers haven't started doing this you're missing the fuck out.
Even though I'm an extremely saught after fitness coach, I've had psychological issues with holding a low body fat and tend to just gravitate back up.
Since doing this daily, my mental conditioning is on top. It's almost like I"m programmed to get leaner. I've been holding 7% body fat like a mother fucker effortlessly.
For some reason as I got started recording the Bane voice popped up.."Oh, you think the darkness is your ally, but you merely adopted the dark. I was born in it.."
I do this kind of relaxations every time in Yoga classes. Is very cool so Im gonna record and see if that sugestions work, im a bit doubtful here but im open minded :)
Thanks a lot Manwhore for uploading this drills!!!
Cheers
