Service staff blowin up my spot
Took this girl out last night to a lil italian byob with outstanding food. The old lady waitress came over and said "Welcome back, good too see you again." My date gave me this little smile and said "oh so you come here alot." I said "No I was here once a while ago" and the fucking waitress said "Oh I thought you were in here a few times recently." WTF bitch can't you see what's goin on here jeeeezzuusss..
For the record before anyone pipes up, I am always friendly to service staff and tip well, so its not moitivated by anything negative.
At another place the guys said the same thing and the one acts like a player himself. Its too small just to pull them aside and give 'em $20 to never remember me again. Same thing with these guys I tipped over 25% so I don't get it..
If it becomes necessary, lightly chide/shame them. Do it gently and give them an escape route.

I don't know the whole context, so not sure why it is a problem that you go there often. Seems to be a reason for that, otherwise you could just vibe with the staff and use it as social proof. For me it is great if they remember me, the girl does not know if you are there every time with a new girl or with friends/clients..
True you can easily interpret it any way you want. That being said if it's couched with bad intentions then ya got to handle it. I've definitely had bartenders and staff attempt to throw that sort of monkey wrench in the mix.

If there was no ill intentions behind it as well, you could use that however you want.
